“The lady stood up, very slowly. Bond stared in disbelief.”
A line literally lifted from this intriguing, and entertaining tale of 007’s antics in the field. With an ally who is different from any other that he has worked with –Bond has to deal with a villain who has illuminating designs on the future of the world, and his own pockets.
The Sly Fox’s first steps into the literary world of 007 are not what you would expect, and although the formula is vastly different - it is almost like it is offering an alternative dimension - with moments that are typical of all the stories you have read or watched with the suave and charming super spy at its centre.
So, for an entertaining little lighthearted romp, read: “Mystifying Eyes”.
I promise it will put a smile on your face, and then you can acknowledge that this young writer has attempted a fusion between genres that was thought to be impossible. Yet, has produced a tale that once more transfers the reader into a realm that is visually stimulating and entertaining all at the same time.
