In 1991, the Soviet Union collapsed, but what happened to those loyal to the Communist regime?
'The Queen's Pawn' finds James Bond on a mission in Zagreb, Croatia, on the tail of a former IRA assassin named Gary Connolly. But Bond soon discovers that there is more to this case than simply apprehending a terrorist.
Connolly is employed by a Croatian textile manufacturer, Yuri Zivkovic. Behind the front of a successful businessman lies a dark secret. Bond must uncover what lurks in Zivkovic's shady past in order to put a stop to a series of suicide bombings in the United Kingdom.
James Bond returns once more in another tale of danger, excitement, and vengance.
