I really don't think that for a movie role he's going to take steriods to get that big considering he's really not that big or ripped.

I myself used to want to know the 'secrets' and I came to the realization that working out is working out. Some eat right, some don't. Some have trainers, some don't. Some run and do cardio enough to shed the extra far for the 'rippness' to show, some don't. It also depends on the body you have.
If someone said that Craig was at the gym for 6 hours a day that is nonsense. Every workout I have ever read doesn't say anything other than to stay at the gym for about 1hr to 1 1/2 hr. That's it.
Yes he probably took supplements but steroids? I doubt it. He would show signs of steroids. Read up on steroids. However, he may have but just did one cycle.
I have the workout by his personal trainer with pictures and text from GQ-uk, I just have to scan it and put up a link. I forgot last weekend, but I promise I will before Sunday.
Craig did not take steroids. Nor did he work out 6 hours a day (I'm a gym devotee myself and I promise you that 6 hours a day would be serious overtraining and counterproductive).
The workout was designed by a former Royal Marine. He did not use weights except (if I recall) for one exercise. It was mostly calesthenics using his own weight as resistance. The workout was a high-intensity 45 minutes long, plus cardio, six days a week. He also was very careful with his diet, which lowered his bodyfat percentage significantly enough to allow the muscle, especially the abs, to show through. He did put on about 20 pounds of muscle, but his body mass index was already pretty low, which makes it easier to put on muscle.
