And here Roger Moore is so small (note: the watch is behind him and in front of the lady) he could be mistaken for Daniel Craig :D

The watermark on the above image, I think, says "BOND LIFESTYLE", so if you have provided them the image and given them permission to use it then there is no problem here. However, if you did not provide them the image and can prove beyond all reasonable doubt that this is your display and image, then there is a problem.

But are you sure it is your display?
The image on your website is different.

Well, I am not sure, if you decide what "no problem" is or not :D I'd say you don't :D

JBL had my permission to use that pic and it has been lifted from their webpage.
But I am still the owner of the copyright and I am sure that it's my display and my image X-(

Happy to help with any small amount of knowledge I have but I need some expertise here. I have always been led to beleive that this poster was a rush job due to a shortage of cinema release posters. Apologies its a UK quad. Anyway I never really believed it and think maybe it was printed for Ireland due to censorship of female images. Anyone got any better idea?
I have heard the same about shortage of posters - although if there was a shortage, just print more from the same existing blocks than undergo a redesign (of sorts).

I doubt it would have been done for the Irish market as the Russia quads (and Dr No and Thunderball quads) I have seen have had 'clothes' painted in to cover the nudity.

Other than that, I am no help at all.

This is an ultra rare pair of British double crowns displayed as a door panel for 1971's Diamonds are Forever. If you've ever seen another original pair you are probably looking at the front advertising panels of a British Routemaster bus 40 years ago or are standing in the poster section of the EON Archive?

    "I got a brother"

I also got these ..... Rolled never folded

    "Small world"

I have these and also a third which has no image so they probably were displayed in threes with the image one in the middle

Has anyone got the OHMSS one which looks like s photocopy? - must dig it out one day to get a shot.

I love the first TLD poster with the Aston on it, poster artwork like these put the skyfall ones to shame IMO.

I have just bought an A0 planning chest with 5 drawers - UK quads fit in perfectly and I've probably now got a couple of hundred safely in there. Like you say what can you do with these bloody posters.

I have a 12 sheet US dr No but my biggest is a 24 sheet FYEO!
  • danjaq_0ffdanjaq_0ff The SwampsPosts: 7,283MI6 Agent
Well Im not doing the posters any justice keeping them in the loft :)) and I don't have the room for a planning chest,
so Im getting rid of them.

    Original 1966 Japanese rerelease one panel poster for Dr.No believed by most to be the 1963 first release poster. Even the DK 50th Anniversary poster book got this wrong. The poster is unusual because it features Bond with the correct Walther PP where most 1960's Dr.No posters including the 1972 rerelease Japanese one & two panels feature Bond with the infamous yet incorrect Walther PPK or a Walther P38 based pistol. Also shown which regrettably I do not own is the mega rare actual 1963 first release one panel Japanese poster and the bugger me, rare as rocking horse pooh 1963 Japanese two panel which graces my door. -{

Very nice - I always thought there was a lot going on in Japanese posters but they are getting very rare.

One thing that stands out with this Dr NO poster is the image of Connery and Gayson. Only the Japanese seem to have picked up on the blatent sexuality of the opening scenes. I don't remember any book really labouring on it either.

Usually the gun shots into Dent seemed to ignite debate but take that couple and the age. Bond meets a good time girl in a casino and the next minute she is wearing his shirt. Very racy stuff and to be honest Eunice Gayson projected sex and here is the controversial part - sex without hangups or commitment.

    wow - must lie down!!!

I remember attending the 1972 Comic book convention in New York who had several Movie Posters and, as he was against a wall, hung up a 24-sheet poster of Bond walking sideways inside the volcano from YOLT.
The last day of the show I passed him and heard him yelling out "Huge Bond poster...letting it go for $10.00.......Anyone? "OK, last chance...$5.00 takes it away"
    And no...I didn't get it........ :s

Unusual image painted by Robert McGinnis for the Thunderball campaign of 1965 which appeared in colour on the US 1/2 sheet and 6 sheet. No:04 in a set of 4 US door panel posters which are featured in the new DK 50 Years of Bond movie posters book but incorrectly captioned. Martine Beswick is listed as Claudine Auger and Ms Auger herself is listed as "an unknown model!"....Give me strength!

ps, if anyone has the US Sean Connery door panel for YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE for sale? please PM me. Thank you.
