The Incredibles-The Bond Soundtrack You Missed!

Growing up, I was an enormous fan of the Pixar film The Incredibles, especially the big band, jazzy spy music soundtrack.

I only learned later that originally John Barry himself was supposed to score this film. The theme to "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" is even heard in the teaser trailer!

The entire soundtrack is golden, but here are just two Bond-esque pieces:

Kronos Unveiled: http://youtu.be/1BDze6XUhKg?t=58s

is just like YOLT's Capsule in Space: http://youtu.be/cnupOcB6JY4

The New Babysitter: http://youtu.be/7CGoKbA_C94?t=1m29s

is just like TB's Chateau Flight: http://youtu.be/XMgn-JdF6go?t=1m7s

And just for kicks, here's the best song on the album: http://youtu.be/AzkoVx_SNa0

John Barry would have been fantastic, but I think Michael Giacchino did a stellar job on this soundtrack. Anyone else here a fan?

It's great stuff, and very Barry. He was asked to do the score, but eventually didn't- apparently (and I've no proof of this) he didn't want to go over old ground.
