Role of Honour

Finally finished it. Having given up on it a few months back (the computer training chapters with 'Percy' Proud causing me to sigh and read something else :# ) I gave it another go from the beginning and have to say this one wasn't too bad a story once it got going. Not as good as Icebreaker but better than License Renewed. I'm told that the next one, 'Nobody Lives Forever' is one of, if not Gardner's best book?

It's been years since I've read it but seem to remember it had a GF feel about it. I enjoyed
Many of Gardner's early stories. Loved the terrorist training camp bit but felt it a little odd
that Blofeld's successor would allow Bond to pilot the airship. :D still it was a fun read.

As I've said before - I really enjoy Roll Of Honour for some bizarre reason :))

I like Nobody Lives Forever too...

I'd say so. Haven't read it in years but remember enjoying it very much.
