Here is something which may just blow your brain? which I was informed of Summer 2013 while visiting a technician friend at Shepperton Film Studios.

100 of these 5ft beauties are being created for the very much "well healed" who perhaps like the idea of having a DB5 in the leisure or cinema room as well as the garage?
Regrettably this is not an exact copy of the Bond mobil miniature as EON own the Skyfall PDF files so a new scan was made of a different DB5 or perhaps DB4 Vantage? Incidently EON also own the BMT216A number plate rights so that will not be supplied with the miniature...at any price!
It is unknown if permission has been granted for the replica to be fitted with any "Q" gadgets and perhaps interesting to note that the film miniature did not have an ejector seat roof panel installed although the Skyfall screen car did....Dohhhh!
Price?...as with the real mccoy, if you have to ask you can't afford it & they haven't published one but my friend told me ballpark 25k to 40k (British Pounds)
...and yes, Donk wants one!

We had a 24hr donkathon before but gave up after 3hrs as pete knocked over the industrial sized drum of ky leading to a mass 'Bambi on ice' ensemble. It was all very disappointing.

My understanding was that since they had the files for the FX miniature, following-up with a commercial edition was a comparative no-brainer; that they had to produce all new drawings is surprising.

I just checked prices... they have come up! Five years ago, I knew owners buying and selling them for $100-$125K. My, my...!

It's about maintenance and/or degree and quality of restoration, location, venue, color, mileage, and a slew of other factors.
The median price for a properly maintained/restored Silver Birch DB5 in "acceptable" concours condition in the past year has been about £600K.
Thanks for explaining more about the £600K tag. I find it "positively shocking". When I was on some Aston boards years ago and dealt with a couple of fans trying to sell their cars--well, it's shocking. I mean, clearly I had no idea.
Yes, we saw that. And, as I noted, a model with zero celebrity provenance sold for three times as much. Again, condition, etc. Early model is a factor. Restoration not done by Williams is a factor. Not Silver Birch. The list goes on.
Plus, the simple fact is, the generation with an interest in the Beatles is dying out, selling-off collections (putting their Sir Paul Astons on the market), and directing their monies elsewhere.
I might add, early Bond memorabilia is doing the same.
