    I must check it out, never watched it. I also never watched "how I met your mother " until one of my daughters got into it, now I think it's really funny. :))

    Same here, there are so many great British comedies, although I
    Find the Americans very good at "word play " :D My favourite
    Homegrown show for years has been " Phoenix Nights " I've
    Got the box set and regularly watch it, still laugh my bottom off
    At it, even when I know the joke coming up.
    Lastly a word for "Mrs Brown's Boys " rude, offensive and funny. -{

    All great shows, I'm a big fan of all comedy. Regular listener of
    BBC radio 4 at 18:30 week nights they always have a comedy
    Show on. That's where I first heard little Britain. And a personal
    Favourite of mine " Bleak Expectations " a send up of all the
    Charles Dickins stories :)) ( did move to TV but didn't work ).
    As well as digital bbc4 extra loads of old radio comedy shows
    It's funny because I've heard some modern comics crack a joke
    Thinking it was hilarious, only to hear it on some show from the
    Early 60s. :))

    You should check out 'Early Doors' as well...far funnier -{

    I never was into Everybody Loves Raymond. I guess I was one of the few (or many) who didn't love Raymond. You want another good comedy to watch, try watching Modern Family. Not sure if it's on the U.K. yet since new episodes are still being made here. But when it comes on, watch it.

    American comedy is not for me really but I did rate how the late great Robert Culp, one of my favourite actors was in Everybody Loves Raymond as a recurring character. :) -{

    The original Phoenix Nights has long since closed - although it was split between two clubs...I used to pass one of them as they filmed...

    I never watched The Big Bang Theory until recently when I have been watching re-runs of it's first several seasons (seems like it's on all the time on one channel or another over here). I think the show is absolutely hilarious. I've also started to watch re-runs of Modern Family, and I find that show to be very funny also.

    The Big Bang Theory is on 24 hours a day it seems.

    I think Senifeld was the funniest sit-com ever made. And The IT Crowd being close...

    I suppose the TV company makes a fortune out of world sales
    It's only fair the actors get a decent cut ( I should be an agent ) :))
