Who do you watch Bond movies with?

chrisisallchrisisall Western Mass, USAPosts: 9,061MI6 Agent
A girlfriend? A Wife? A Son or Daughter? Friends?

Sadly, I watch Bond movies by myself. My Wife hates them. My Son watched TLD with me for Father's Day as a total courtesy. He didn't like it much.

I'm all alone here. *snif* :#
Dalton & Connery rule. Brozz was cool.

aww poor guy. Sorry your father's day was a bust.

Bond films are probably best watched alone, especially when you're a diehard fan.

My GF is a pretty good sport about watching them. We've seen Moonraker and AVTAK multiple times together. hehe
    My current 10 favorite:

    1. GE 2. MR 3. OP 4. TMWTGG 5. TSWLM 6. TND 7. TWINE 8.DN 9. GF 10. AVTAK

and I've just got it on bluray. :)) by the way her verdict on SF

    Subject. :D

I was introduced by my dad into the Bondsphere and we would watch the films together. Usually alone though, but my younger brother has been watching them with me during this re-watch period, and he loves him some Diamonds are Forever :))

My wife also hates Bond, to such an extent that I don't bother
Putting them on when they're on the telly ( unless I'm alone ).
Even pausing on a Bond to see a scene when changing channels
Gets a bit of heavy sighing :))

Friend#1 - We're going through the whole series as he's only seen the DC ones
Friend#2 - Anyone involving Pierce Brosnan as he's 'our' Bond so we watch for Nostalgia reasons
Friend#3 - She hates pre-DC Bond so only watches those
Friend#4 - He hates all Bond so only watches on my birthday

I'm new here, so I'm gonna jump right in and home I don't splash anybody.

I grew up watching Bond on the telly with my Dad and I just loved them all. Nowadays, however, I tend to watch them on my own. I have an 11 year old son but he's not interested in the older Bonds. He does like the Craig ones and I tried to interest him in a Connery one once, but to no avail.

To be honest, I almost prefer watching them on my own as I'm quite happy to go along with some of the sillier elements and don't have to listen to sighs or tuts from other family members. My first "cinema" Bond (as opposed to "telly" Bond) was Timothy Dalton in TLD. Since then I've seen every subsequent Bond film in the cinema but, again, tend to go on my own.

Some people just have no taste!
