Thin down the stickies

Pretty much what the title says.

The merch and collecting forum's stickies could do with a cull IMO.

Just a thought,

Ok, ditch the Christmas ideas thread as it's nearly Christmas and it's too late now to order anything.

Does the exchange thread need to be stickied?

Show n tell hasn't been used in a while and people largely ignore it and post a new thread so my harsh advice is delete it.

Competition time is redundant now as the comp is over, so you could delete that n all.

Advice and research never really got used for its true purpose so kill it n all.

The Lodge Jacket Exchange & the Swap / Trade threads could easily be merged I'd think?

I do think the above warrants a sticky, as the idea was to stop 100's of threads mounting up & clogging up the boards. At least there's a chance to house quite a few posts under one roof & it does what it says on the tin.

Geff's Competition is possibly no longer valid as a sticky ... Or is it?

Just a starter for 10 possibly.

As a footnote I'd say try n keep stickies to 10 at a time max.

Our current count of 14 is a bit OTT IMO, TTFN BTW OMG WTF is going on with all these acronyms?!

Just noted this and have to concur; stickies are still pretty numerous!

Some need to be there for legal reasons...and some are there because it's a frequently visited thread - which makes it easier to find...I'm happy to remove some more though...has anybody any suggestions as to which ones ?

Imo the Pin master thread can go and the Christmas competition as well.

I'll leave the AJB Master Pin thread - as that's where you can buy them from...but the Christmas one has gone...a couple more can go once Bond24 starts...

Is there any AJB merchandise other than the pins? Might be time for an AJB store!

That wouldn't be a bad idea - we just need ideas and the Boss to ok it - unfortunately he's rarely here...

    It would be nice to see some new articles on the AJB Main page too. It might attract more new members, especially to the Literary Bond section... :) -{

The last article was posted on the Main Page on 28 November 2010 so it is high time there was something new and interesting there.

Just an idea I'm throwing out into the ether.
