    I'm thinking this is what gave rise to the rumor of a £40K price tag for the commercial release.

    I really like the idea of the gold finger Aqua Terra but something tells me it will go for much more than the estimate

    In that second picture, Lewis Gilbert looks like he's trying to fit inside it... :#

    Isn't it funny how much with the passage of time Lewis is looking more & more like Sir Ken Adam -{

    While I know that was facetious, fact is, they are starting to look alike!

    "Is that who it is? We'll it just goes to show, no-one's indestructible"

    D'oh! :# I bow to the Donk's superior knowledge (though he is indeedstarting to look like Lewis Gilbert...) :v

    I've just checked out Propshop's website. No mention of the silver birch DB5 yet but there is a coming soon for a Film and Entertainment Collectibles side of the business which one has to assume the DB5 will be their flagship piece?

    That does really look impressive and the interior looks great ..... BUT I want to see a video of the remote controlled parts working :x

    Colour of the interior on the GF effects car is grey, not black, and the front number plate frame is way out of proportion and incorrect shape from the original.
    If I had the money, I still would bid on it.
    Damn.

    ... BUT I want to see a video of the remote controlled parts working

    I'm betting that this auction will be a springboard for an announcement regarding the limited edition model; I expect to see a video almost immediately following the close of the auction.
    Colour of the interior on the GF effects car is grey, not black ...

    It's always being portrayed as black; even the friggin' supposedly uber-accurate Eaglemoss partwork is black. I actually prefer the grey but I think it's harder to achieve a good, consistent match.

    Must admit I thought it would go for more than this being a one of a kind?
