Zorin & Scarpine: More than friends ?

Watched AVTAK last night and it realized Zorin & Scarpine are actually more than friends. This has escaped my notice for quite some time.

Consider Zorin's ex-girlfriend Mayday who is about as masculine a woman as you are ever likely to find.

Why does he want to be rid of her at the end? That's his way of breaking up. (A convenient coincidence)

Why is Scarpine so comfortable around Zorin during the massacre? Because he knows Zorin loves him.

Look how happy they are when they exit the mineshaft and toss their hardhats into the air in carefree celebration.

Mayday thought that creep loved her. That should have been her and Zorin floating away happily in the blimp. Instead it's Zorin and Scarpine. (gazing and smiling at each other)


Doesn't this just blow your mind?

    I'd have an easier time believing Red Grant was homosexual or Kisch was in love with Goldfinger. They seemed to tease us with the cross-dressing Blofeld in Diamonds are Forever, too.

    Interesting theory. I guess when you look at the evidence you show us it seems right. You might be looking a little too deep, but it's nice to see people thinking about Bond movies. :)

    Zorin and Scarpine , nah they're just buddies......even Scarpine is kinda shocked by Zorins amusement , killing his own men.
