FOR SALE: All Saints Corduane Iggys (Skyfall Lodge Corduroys)

DBSDBS Los Angeles, CAPosts: 1,015MI6 Agent
I picked up several extra pairs of the All Saints Corduane Iggy pants a short while back while they were on sale. These are from the 2011 Fall line, which would be the same season as selected by the costume department for "Skyfall." While there has been no dark brown color for this particular pant (there was a lighter brown version called "bitter chocolate"), I understand that the costume department dyed them to the desired color of dark brown. I took a pair of mine and applied a dye treatment. This was the result -

I'm offering up the extra pairs I picked up to any interested members. I currently have available:
(2) pairs in size 32 in Light Grey (SOLD)
(1) pair in size 30 in Airforce (dark grey) (SOLD)
(1) pair in size 30 in Washed Black (SOLD)

Kind regards,
Craig

Gents, jump on this great deal. I too acquired some "past year" All Saints a short while back and had them dyed to a dark brown. I'm convinced this is how they were done for the movie.

Are you be certain with the inseam length of 34“? At the All Saints webshop have every sizes a lenght of 32“ and I’m worry that this is a little bit to short for me.

    Nico,

Here are some measurements for you -

Size 30 - Waist: 15.75", Inseam: 32", and Cuff opening at bottom: 7.25"
Size 32 - Waist: 16.25", Inseam: 32", and Cuff opening at bottom: 7.5"

As Tintin noted, the Inseam length IS 32" so I've corrected my original post above. I could have sworn they were 34" when I had mine hemmed as they seemed to take a few inches off. Guess I'm just shorter than I thought. 8-)

    Kind regards,
    Craig

Okay! Did the All Saints have enough fabric to extended the hem a little bit?

What brand and color dye did you use? Also, what color were the original pants that you dyed? Thank you!

ditto, anyone have the dye recipe to get the accurate color?

Apologies for missing the questions above. For the dyeing, I used an equal ratio of liquid RIT dye - Black and Cocoa Brown. I used the stovetop method which can be found on the RIT website. I used a pair of Iggys in Geography, which is one of last season's colors. It's a tan color, equivalent to the Sedge color of this recent season.

As long as the original color is lighter than the color you're dyeing, it should be fine. Otherwise you'd have to use the RIT color remover first before beginning the dye process.

Hope this info is helpful. FYI, I have a few additional pairs available for sale at the retail price. Please PM me if you're interested.

    Kind regards,
    Craig

I still have no idea where the dyeing idea came from? I don't believe they dyed the trousers that Craig wore?

I have a pair of the bitter choc colour and they are spot on. Where did any dyeing information come from?

Of course. I used 6 liquid ounces of Black and 6 liquid ounces of Cocoa Brown with approximately 4 gallons of hot water and let them soak (with constant agitation) for one hour.

Hard to say, George. They could be. But they could be the "washed black" version that were out around the same time. The color in photos can be deceiving.

    Kind regards,

Yeah they do look more like the black ones.

These have also escaped me so far however not spent too much time searching the like of eBay etc as they look a bit too skinny for me!

I think that they're Washed Black. The Bitter Chocolate leather patch is a lighter brown:

It has worn a little on my pair, but it is definitely a lighter colour.

    Cheers,

I did see some chocolate 5 pocket needle cord jeans in M&S today for £19.00 for those of us on a limited budget
not bad ,will get a pair myself for Christmas :)
By the way, did I tell you, I was "Mad"?

    For those on a budget, you can always do what I did - get a second hand pair of (paler) All Saints Iggy Cords on eBay (they are always coming up and you can get them for a few quid - mine cost £5). Then dye them with a 50/50 mix of Dylon Velvet Black and Chocolate Brown. -{

The best thing is, buying them second hand and hand dying them means they come out 'pre-distressed' for an even more authentic 007 Skyfall look :))

If you find any in size 34, let me know! (unless they run small, I will need 36W in that case).

    Will do. But you can always set up an alert in EBay that sends you an email when anyone lists a pair in your size. -{

I didn't know that! In Poland allegro is the leader in this kind of stuff so I rarely use eBay, hence why I don't know all it's brilliant utilities :)

Was it ever confirmed that these were not black though?

Yes. The Rittenhouse cards show it was bitter chocolate.
