For the actors, as a whole-
1) connery [ despite his last 2 or 3]
2) craig
3) Brosnan [ despite looking to thin in his own debut]
4) Lazenby- looks decent enough in a little fight
5) dalton
6) moore [ by far at the bottom]
I think Connery has the best overall look from the point of view of the novels.
But Dalton was the best overall package of look and character as far as I am concerned.
Craig was big in CR, which made you believe he could kill someone, but I thought it was a slightly over the top look for Bond, he looked better in QoS and Skyfall, and also seems to look better in SPECTRE.
Lazenby looked good, the closest to Connery I reckon. But I struggled a bit with his portrayal of the character, I didn't like it too much, particularly his voice.
Brosnan was ok too, a bit too pretty boy, but passable.
Whilst I love Roger Moore's portrayal of Bond, I don't think he looks at all like Bond is described in the novels. But that's fine because out of all of them I think Roger is the one who made it most "his own take on it" and I like that, it makes a nice change.
