If you could rearrange and change the Bond films?

Thought this might be a fun thread topic. All the pre-existing actors and titles for Bond films exist but you have given the chance to mix it up a little. Here's mine.

Sean Connery-
Dr No
Thunderball
Goldfinger
On Her Majesty's Secret Service
You Only Live Twice

George Lazenby
From Russia With Love
Diamonds are Forever

Roger Moore-
Live and Let Die
The Man With the Golden Gun
Moonraker
The Spy who Loved Me
For Your Eyes Only
Octopussy

Timothy Dalton-
A View To A Kill
The Living Daylights
License Revoked
Goldeneye

Pierce Brosnan-
Tomorrow Never Lies
The World is Not Enough
Die Another Day

Daniel Craig-
Casino Royale
Skyfall
Quantum of Solace
Spectre

    I'm really sorry, but as Blackleiter has said, he's really not my idea of Bond, no matter how entertaining his movies are (and they ARE entertaining). But this is fantasy we're talking here. And in my fantasy, while Dalton is doing Bond, Moore is doing a long run of theatrical 'Saint' movies! -{

I have to ask as I've seen a lot of folks on here say this but, why does everyone feel Dalton would be better in GE than Brosnan was? Is it the tone of Goldeneye fitting similarly with TLD and LTK?

Dalton was originally signed on to do a third Bond film. And I believe the first script of Goldeneye was written with Dalton in mind. As I am sure Blackleiter and Chrisisial would agree, Dalton deserved at least another film. Probably more so then George.

Would be fascinated to see what Moore could have done with LTK if he was about 15 years younger. (Sacrilege I know {:) ) Because we really only saw his ruthless side sporadically so would be interesting to see if he could sustain it across a whole film in perhaps in a gentleman killer/Day of the Jackal kind of mode.

Alternately I think DC would have done a brilliant job in OHMSS. Great psychically for the action scenes and subtle vulnerability/charm for the Piz Gloria stuff.

Maybe Connery for TMWTGG. Connery Vs Lee would be a killer matchup and we saw in DAF that he could do the sillier stuff.

You only live twice (Telly Savalas as Blofeld)
    Goldfinger

    Roger:
Diamonds are forever (no Blofeld as baddie)
    Live and Let Die
The Man with the golden Gun
    The Spy who loved me
Moonraker (Jaws falling to death in the PTS)

    Lewis Collins:
    For your eyes only
    Octopussy
    A View to a kill
    The Living Daylights

    Pierce Brosnan
    Goldeneye
    Licence to kill
    Tomorrow never dies
    The World is not enough
    Die another Day

    Daniel Craig
Casino Royale (ending with JB convalescending)
Quantum of Solace (starting with JB and Vesper in Venice)
    Skyfall

Okay, now I know you're :x crazy :x about Dalton. I'll make you a deal. Let Roger keep his first 4 and I'll give you and Tim FYEO, OP, and AVTAK.

I am currently reading OHMSS, and I agree that DC would pull it off really well. I'd be open to them remaking the OHMSS plot in Spectre or Bond 25.

    Here is my list:

    Sean Connery
    All of them.

I am kidding of course, but figured someone was going to write that eventually. :))

I am happy with the series as it is, but if I did have access to an alternate reality where I could watch a different actor play the movies for fun, I would Be curious to see how:

    Connery would have played OHMSS.

Dalton would have been in GE.

Craig would have been in GF or FRWL.

How Moore would have been in DAF

How Brosnan would have been in CR.

Along these same lines, just for curiosity sake, I would have liked to see Sam Neil in TLD and Clive Owen in CR.
