Banned from filming another scene in Rome

They've been told they can't film on a bridge, which would have seen bond jump from a helicopter onto the bridge. Should production just put all the planned scenes in Rome in another country?

Why are the Italian government being picky about location shooting in Rome. They've shot in Venice for three Bond films.

Krakow would be actually a pretty decent place for a Bond movie because it is one of the most beautiful cities in Eastern Europe hands down, I've been both to Venice and Siena, a few years later I started studying in Krakow and I was truly amazed. They could make a scene under the Main Square involving a secret MI6 Safe House for instance (like they did in Siena in QoS).

I'm aware of the fact that it will never happen unfortunately :<

It appears that the filming will go ahead in Rome. The city administration has authorized the production but they will have to adapt to the rigid rules regarding the protection of monuments. Reports that filming on the Ponte Sisto bridge had been denied because of "fanatical religious activists" were "nasty rumours". The scene at the Via del Quattro fountains can now be filmed but without the car jump at the intersection.

That's good news. They can film the "car jump" on a set somewhere else and edit it in seemlessly. Probably been done more times than we even realize. Ahh...movie magic -{

Thank you. But honestly Oslo isn't an iconic or even very beautiful city. If they have to move Paris, Barcelona or Prague would be the best candidates. Iconic and beautiful cities all. London is iconic, but was used in SF. San Fransico is overused for car chases.
Paris would perhaps be best because it isn't used in Bond since AVTAK and it's so iconic.
