Hello everybody,

In Die Another Day, Pierce Brosnan wears Persol PE2672-S when he is in Havana, Cuba. I have been on the hunt for these sunglasses especially since they were specially made for the film. I cannot find these on ebay or amazon. I am sure many of you on ajb007 more than likely have these pair of Persols I wholeheartedly desire. If any of you are willing to sell these sunglasses to me, I am prepared to negotiate pricing and If you are willing to sell it, please PM me or email (Kaleema007@yahoo.com)

Thank you!

It will be hard to exchange these for screen inaccurate 2244's... I have the screen accurate ones (brown lenses) and still they aren't selling very well when they're popping up on eBay, I bought mine for around 200$ back in 2010. :< Very, very underestimated pair of glasses in my opinion, although quite heavy.

Inaccurate 2244S? Where did you get that from? I have the accurate 2244S from Casino Royale.

You just edited it out, I've read previously that you had a tortoise 2244's (which wasn't making sense anyway because all 2244's have a metal frame).

Yeah I see what you meant. I went back and read it and then realized how you came to that conclusion. That was my fault. I was thinking tortoise when I originally typed this bc the 2672's are tortoise. So I made the change. Sorry bout the confusion

-{ Anyway - the 2244's are a very rare item, rarer even then the TF0108 from "Quantum of Solace" - and still the price is ridiculously small in comparison to the Tom Ford's.

Has anyone an idea where to get genuine Persol cardboard boxes? I bought both the 2720's and 2244's with original cases only unfortunately :/

Interesting, I did not know they were more rarer than the TF108's. They are awesome glasses. I purchased them right after the movie came out once the model and color was identified. Had them ever since.

    As it has been over a month now since I originally started this thread, I can proudly say that I have successfully tracked down (AND PURCHASED) a pair of Persol 2672-S. :D :D :D -{

Fortunately, there was an eBay seller who posted them up last week for sale. I did have to pay the EUR rate but it was well worth it as these are now hard to come by. One of the downsides is the color. Unfortunately the pair i bought is in black (oh well :# ) But I am happy that I was able to get my hands on this rare 007 collectible. When I receive them I will post pics. For now if anyone is interested, they can view the images from the recent eBay post...

Check ebay. There are a couple for sale on the US site. Only one offers worldwide shipping. Here's the link:

It's been 2 painstaking long days since my glasses have been sitting idle in the Los Angeles Gateway. They just now departed and heading to another postal center before being shipped to my local postal center. Anxiously awaiting these 2672s. If they come in today, I will do my best to post pics up today or tomorrow.

And here it is... I'm actually quite satisfied with these as they have a great fit. I wish they were the SA tortoise brown, however I am happy with the black version. So glad I was able to get my hands on this particular model.

Nice pair -{ Although I'm not a fan of those (as well as everything else from the Brosnan era :)) ) but I simply think the 2720s has a far better shape. Just my opinion, it's an extremely rare item so congratulations Sir!

Thanks! i never got my hands on the 2720s. They do look nice though. Not a fan of Pierce Brosnan era items? PB was the Bond i grew up watching so its nice to have those items he once wore as a Bond character, least IMO.

The 2720s are Brosnan approved. He wore them in Momma Mia. :D

Congrats on getting a pair of 2672s.

Anyone interested in purchasing some PE 2672-S, a new listing on the Bay of E just went up. However, they are prescription lens. The price is dirt cheap though.

It's still early in that auction. Some Persols 2244 S 834/33 that were a bit beaten up just went for $142.50. And this pair was listed under ladies sunglasses.

True that on the price. Now I want to set my eyes on the glasses that DC will wear in SPECTRE. I still want to know which glasses he was wearing pre-production. not the Persol 9714s, the other ones when he wears that charcoal canada goose jacket.

The final sale price was $201.50. Seems rather steep for frames only.

WoW!! Whoever purchased them now has to worry about finding lenses that match that model. . . which means more $$$

If it were a realistic price I'd have bid since I usually wear prescription lenses. But $200 for a pair of 12 year old frames that have obviously seen some wear and tear? Nope. It's odd that two people wanted it enough to drive the price so high.

You should feel happy that you got your 2672s for the price you did.
