Filming has only started but, how do you feel about SPECTRE ?

ThunderpussyThunderpussy Behind you !Posts: 63,792MI6 Agent
I was wondering what are other members views and opinions on the start
Of filming of the new Bond film. Have you seen any of the filming photos and
Videos ?
I have to say so far I'm really excited about it all, what I've seen so far, makes me
Feel good. The pictures of Daniel dress in black firing his gun. I haven't seen any
Of the leaked script so all my excitement is only from guess work,but I do feel
We are in for a blockbuster of a Bond film. :)
Anyone else excited, or do you feel it's not going the way you feel it should ?

Obviously, I'd ask that No Spoilers are mentioned, just general opinions if you're
Upbeat or disenchanted ?

    I'm excited - the pics in the snow make it look like a Brosnan/TLD style film.

    I'm pretty excited, though I'd rather have a different crew working on it. I'm not convinced the writing will be very strong, and I think Sam Mendes is a good but not great director. I hope my doubts will be proven to be unfounded.

    I'm excited, but nervous a little from all the setbacks we are hearing about. Like the Car Chase in Rome, and news from the Sony Hacks. :(
    But I'm sure everything will turn out right. I have faith that the team can deliver. Skyfall was a great film, despite its faults, the best Bond film since Goldeneye IMHO. I reckon they will do Spectre justice. -{

    Considering Skyfall is my least favorite Bond film by a wide margin….well, how excited should I be for Spectre ? 8-)

    I'm confident in it.

    I'm not expecting Spectre to be one of the greatest movies in the series, but I'm expecting it to be good.

    It is always an exciting time when a Bond film goes into production. Judging by what I have seen and read to date, things are looking promising. Particularly the locations and action scenes.

    I am naturally excited about a new Bond film. I wouldn't say I'm any more or less excited than I have been for any of the Daniel Craig films. The excitement will naturally begin to build once we start seeing productions stills, trailers, hopefully some video blogs or something of that nature. I really liked Skyfall, I thought it was an excellent Bond film although Casino Royale remains my favourite Bond film of the modern era. So, I will be eagerly anticipating the follow-up film, I hope the writing is good. I think all the other departments will be their usual dependable selves. It all hangs on the script.

    Everything looks pretty good so far. I'm always excited about the prospect of a new Bond film.

    Not keen on the way the leaks have been reported. A lot of it smacks of schadenfreude - not a pleasant trait.

    I didn't really follow the production of Skyfall like I have with SPECTRE and what I've seen of SPECTRE so far has me really excited.

    I really liked Skyfall but thought there was still a lot of room for improvement and I'm hoping that in SPECTRE we see more of the same but with that improvement (stronger plot etc.)

    But even if I hadn't seen any of the on-set photos, I'd still be super hyped for the film just to see in what form SPECTRE, the organisation is presented.

    I'm very excited, too! I liked CR best, followed by QOS, followed by SF. I wanted to like SF better than I did, and I really tried, but there are just a few things in it that haven't held up on repeated viewings. I'm really hoping SP will change this trend for me.

    Feeling good about it. Will it be as acclaimed as CR06 and SF? Probably not, but all it needs to be is top 10 material to solidify Craig's tenure of Bond.

    I think it's unfair to judge Eon based on the leaks. I'm sure lots of popular films out there have been revised heavily. War and Peace was re-written like twice, or something like that - yada yada yada. The main thing is that Eon seems to be giving and taking criticism constructively.

    Spectre's third act most likely won't be a Mass Effect 3 fiasco.

    Really excited from what we know and have seen so far. Has the potential to be DC's best. A top 10 ranking in the entire series will mean it is brilliant, classic Bond. So lets hope.. -{

    From the few photos I've seen from the filming and the choice of locations.

    I'm far more excited for this than I was for Skyfall.

    The entire lead up to Skyfall for me was just "meh, whatever", nothing seemed to excite me about it. Then I saw the film and felt exactly the same, it was very much a disappointment for me.

    SPECTRE looks very promising though, I am really looking forward to it.

    I'm having a devil of a time managing my insatiable desire for information/photos/videos with my ironclad commitment against spoilers...afraid it's going to be a long nine months. Grateful to have found ajb007 in between SF and SP, though!
