Need help on 1998 Exhibition in Glasgow

Not sure if this is the right place but I've been trying to find out about the show that happened back in '98 in Glasgow. My memory is a bit hazy as I was 10 years old :)) .

So far I think it was the "The World of 007" in the McLellan Galleries but I'm struggling to dig up anything else out of google other than old news snippets. I really wanted to hunt down a perforated aluminium card case I got there and preceded to loose at a later date and never forgave myself. :# Just hoping maybe somebody has a program or something like that.

Thanks chaps!

If I remember correctly the exhibition was initially held at the Leeds Royal Armouries Museum in 1997 and I believe it was in Glasgow in 1998 I seem to remember. It had an Aston Martin DB.5 and the Octopussy Acrostar Minijet. Pretty good exhibition and from what I recall was really well put together. Went to Bond In Motion in Beaulieu in 2012 both were as good as each other - thoroughly enjoyed them both.

Always wonder wether there should be a permanent James Bond Museum.

There was one for Bond vehicles in Keswick...it didn't last that long before it had to close...a shame as it was rather good - just in the wrong place...

As for the original question - sorry, no information on that...but I did attend it at Leeds Armouries...

Yes, this exhibition was held at the McLellan Galleries. I do have a program somewhere but I'd have to dig it out.

It was also held in the Portsmouth Dockyards circa late 1997.

I think it was called the Cars of the Stars Museum - they had The Prisoner's Lotus Seven, Del Boy's Reliant Robin, The Saint's Volvo, a Jeep from MASH, and a few other notable vehicles including The Batmobile at one point.

Cars of the Stars was a precursor...it was the same guy but this was only for Bond vehicles and was purpose built...I have some pics somewhere - no idea where mind...
