    Interesting stuff. I knew that he wore a sub and the Monaco but am sure he is also associated him with the Explorer II for some reason. If you google it, it even comes up in the search. Thanks for putting me straight -{

    Def no shred of evidence of him wearing the Exp II

    Wasnt the Heuer simply worn as a accurate period watch for the film? Believe inbetween takes he is pictured with his Sub back on the wrist!!

    Yes, it was for the film, rather than his personal wrist watch of choice.

    Need some help please I have the casino royale seamaster do you think the Spectre nato strap would good with this watch? Thanks

    There was a picture posted recently of one but I can't find it now...
    Personally, I think the NATO strap works best with a black dial/bezel not blue.

    Thanks I think you're right

    I posted a pic of my SMP 300 with Nato strap back on Page 27 (post #668). I love the strap but don't think it looks as great on the SMP as it does on the PO, which several members here have recently posted. I switched back to the bracelet and am thinking of saving the Nato strap for a PO, when I finally pick one up.

    Kind regards,
    Craig

    Thanks for replying. You're definitely right although I would like the nato strap I am very happy with my casino royale model. That does leave me with more money to spend on other spectre products. Thanks again

    I have a blue SMP as well (the newer ceramic model) and came across this one. Might be a good alternative. http://www.horlogebanden.com/Blue-Bond-NATO-G10-Military-Nylon-Strap--SSMattePVD-p-16372.html

    It was between this and the new SMP 300 MCA. Sorry to say the new SMP just does not do anything for me.
    I've been wanting one of these for a while.

    That is a great looking watch. What is the model number of your SM300? Don't believe I've ever seen that one.

    They are vintage Omega 300sm's. 300mtr depth date Sea Masters from the mid 60's.

    This blogger seems to do a pretty good job of discussing them. They are also discussed on http://forums.watchuseek.com/f20/
