Does any one else skip scenes when they watching a Bond film?

I've seen every film in full. And I continue to watch the majority of the Bond films in full, since I like them. Sometimes there's a scene or two I find dull in some of the films so I skip them.

When it comes to my less favorite films in the series (like DAF, AVTAK and MR), I basically just skip through half of the scenes and only watch my favorite bits. I think every film in the series does something correctly, and therefore I like re-watching all of them. But the weaker incohesive ones, I obviously want to get the highlights of - and not necessarily the whole thing.

I only watch Bond films now when someone else wants to watch them, so it would be pretty rude of me to decide to skip through scenes I don't want to watch. I've watched all of them countless times, except for the past four films, which I don't really care to rewatch a third time. If I were to watch Casino Royale again by myself I would skip over the action scenes. I find those extremely tedious in that film. I'd rather watch the car chase with J.W. Pepper and the slide whistle. I often go through selected scenes to examine clothes, but that doesn't really count.

I never skip over anything in the Connery through Moore films, though there are one or two of the latter I just don't watch. I don't watch the Dalton films much, though the first is better than the second, so that one I get in the mood for once in a while. With the Brosnan films, however, I feel like I can skip over whole sections and not lose anything significant. I find myself watching the Craig films all the way through.

I skip Krest's death because i am squeamish. I can watch the other deaths though.

I'll watch the whole movie if somebody wants to, but now I'll just skip to the scenes that are my favorite.

I tend to skip the JW Pepper boat chase in LALD.

Sometimes I'll just watch the first half of FYEO or TLD and call it good.

If I'm researching something in particular, yes I do skip through the films. :)

Well I'm sure that Ian Fleming probably felt the same way about marriage! :))

If we believe the story, we have to thank Fleming getting married for us
    Having " Casino Royale" ;) :D

    Well of course, all joking aside, that is very true indeed. Fleming said he wrote his first novel Casino Rolyale "to take his mind off the agony!" of ending his many years of bachelorhood and getting married at the relatively late age of 43. :) -{

I do sometimes, but it depends on how much time I have to see it. If I'm pressed I might watch certain sections of one. If I have more time and haven't watched in a while, I sit through the entire film. I've done this with SF, CR, FRWL, GF, OHMSS, TB, TLD, GE. These entries are difficult for me to start watching and not keep watching them, but at times I do have to just hit that stop button and move on.

I've never skipped a scene, but I do tend to entirely skip the films that I like least.

I don't skip but I have been known to canter. ;)
I tend to either watch the whole film or go directly to the scene
I want to see. As we all have our favourite stunts and set pieces.

If I have the time to leisurely watch an entire Bond movie, I'll do so beginning to end and even throw in the special features. However, because life seems to be built up of random blocks of time in between work, chores and other compelling TV viewing :)) , an hour here, a half hour there, I am so grateful for the the satellite TV recorder and the invention of the DVD/Blu-Ray disc! I skipped over scenes of the first Mad Max movie over the weekend to prep for the new movie, basically watching the beginning and ending; however, I skipped Thunderdome but watched the Road Warrior in its entirety.

Nope, I never skip a scene, even in the films I'm least fond of. I try to limit my viewing of Bond films to when I have enough time to watch from beginning to end. If I have to stop more than once or twice, I usually quit and save it for another time.

I never skip any scenes, purely because I feel the films have such good pace there's not a scene that bores me.

I am one of those who never skips a scene. Even the - shall we say - not very successful ones. I have a simple technique to help get me through these scenes -

For the slide whistle or Tarzan yell I put my fingers in my ears.
For the double taking pigeon I close my eyes.
For Jaws falling in love I close my eyes and put my fingers in my ears.
For the appallingly awful CGI kite surfing scene I shout - MY GOD THIS IS REALLY CRAP! WHAT WERE THEY THINKING OF? AN INVISIBLE CAR AND NOW THIS!! TALK ABOUT INSULTING MY INTELLIGENCE! WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP!!! - at the television or the wife - whichever is nearest at the time :)
