I was in the Omega boutique last night and couldn't resist picking up a 'Bond NATO' ... Pricey for a NATO but by far the best feel and fit for this type of strap. Here it is fitted to my 'New Old Stock' Seamaster 300 166.0324...

And a quick pick of my original 165.024 from 1966...

{[] like that bezel much better than the WG one.
And glad to see it on an Oyster bracelet, I could never warm up with the Jubilee in all those years

    Very nice 16710 H! B-)

Is it my eyes, or do the markers look bigger than normal?

In terms of my Datejust - I do prefer them on the Oyster bracelet - still my favourite stainless steel bracelet after all these years.

I can't say that you won't see some examples from me with the WG bezel and Jubilee bracelet, though.....at some point. ;)

    Good eyes, Holden ;)

    The watch looked like that:
    fullsizerenderw2euv4dcg3.jpg

The first attempt had too much green:

and the color change took ages :D

The 'maxi' dial does suit it, actually.

Have you sprayed satin clear coat over the whole dial as well......or is that really my eyes?! :s
  • HigginsHiggins GermanyPosts: 16,618MI6 Agent
My friends know it for long - I am a HUGE fan of the Maxidials.

They just look so much better on the Pre-Ceramic Toolwatches. And after you get used to them, the "normal" markers look a bit silly.
The dial is still glossy like it came from the factory, only the GMT-MASTER II wording has been done in white.

Now I need a wider minutehand for that watch :v

I know it's not Wednesday, but have to show off the new addition to the collection! Got it on the steel strap, and also picked up the Bond Nato. Absolutely in love with the watch.

Congratulations cyclones... wear it in good health!

Here's a recent lume shot from my collection.

A bit blurry, but I'm sure many of you would have no trouble at all identifying this one ;)

Hello everyone! I'm relatively new to collecting so I'm wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction for finding reliable retailers of previously-owned Omega's. I found Watchfinder but I live in the US so I'm wondering if there's any US online companies that you may have found in your travels.

    Cheers! -{

Not quite (apologies for being pedantic), either a 2531.80 or 2541.80.

Indeed, here it is in the light ... Seamaster 2531.80 .... one of my favorites!

But today, I'm actually wearing the Explorer 214270 (on a black NATO).
