Just watched it today...(been away) and all I can say is WOW!
The last minute of the film...mind boggling. A fantastic bit of investigative journalism, which defies belief over the entire police effort. A truly remarkable series!

Has anyone seen the Agent Carter TV series? It looks really good to me, but I haven't had a chance to see it yet.
I saw a couple of episodes and to be honest it left me cold. There are a lot of attempts to tie it in to the larger Marvel universe but the acting was flat and the writing boring to me. I also can't say I care for Agents of Shield either as once again the acting and writing just don't do it for me and the show just seems hamstrung by trying to trail along behind the movies.
For me, the best TV show based on a comic book by far has been The Flash. The show really embraces the comic book and it has been a lot of fun seeing the classic rogues gallery form and watching the Flash go up against the likes of Captain Cold and the Reverse Flash. The storytelling has also been very good, with a bunch of really engaging sidekicks and tons of plot twists as the season has unfolded (the season finale was one of the best I ever saw). Its also fun to see how the Flash and other CW/WB shows based on comic books like Arrow and the soon to debu Legends of Tomorrow tie in and dovetail into one another.
This should be of some interest. Pinewood: 80 Years of Movie Magic on BBC Two this Saturday evening at 9pm (Northern Ireland and Wales at 10pm). Jonathan Ross gains unprecedented access to Britain's famous film studio to reveal the magic behind some of the greatest movies ever made. He encounters legendary stars including Dame Joan Collins and Barbara Windsor, and casts the spotlight on the award-winning teams behind iconic heroes such as Superman and James Bond. The last episode of The Game was on BBC 2 tonight. I can't praise this
Programme highly enough. Set in the early 70s with mi5 trying to stop
a cunning Russian plot against Britain. Plenty of twists and surprises
Especially in this last show, six superb episodes, brilliant cast, music
and photography. -{

Patrick Macnee, Diana Rigg and Christopher Lee. Now that's a dream team if I ever saw one! -{

Penny Dreadful- best thing on TV at the moment, and loadsa Bond connections (starting with Timothy Dalton, of course). I'm totally into the whole Frankenstein/Dracula thing, and this series combines that with Bond alumni- how could I not watch it?

Ive watched the two series and enjoyed them...the third one is being stacked up now ready to watch back to back....
