don't know if this topic has been covered allready if so plese close this thread....
so over the last few days I thought of how did Bond finance his 3-month vacation/"enjoying death"
on his last mission in istanbul he had almost no goods with him worth trading/selling besides the omega and his shoes perhaps? I don't think that he has used his credit cards because since the MI6 sold his flat I would imagine that they also froze his bank accounts? ?:)
yet he still had a small bungalow, some more or less expensive clothing(levi's menlo) and enough money for booze...

what do you think? how has he done it?

Several members have pointed out that if you look at the drinking game at the begining of SF,
people are betting on it, so I guess Bond made his money that way. Almost a form of Russian
Roulette.

Bond most likely had some Money hidden somewhere, that the rest of MI6 was not aware of. The Question is though, how did he reach it without being observed?

The Levis was used because it looked battered and old. And the shack probably belonged to the girl. I wouldn't call it a bungalow. More like a shed.

I tend to think Andrew and Monique Bond left him alot of money which has built up over the ages. He cant get by on a civil services wages?

He not only has a licence to kill but an artistic licence also.

Even in Craig's more realistic take on 007 you have to have a sly suspension of disbelief.
