They recommended to reserve the items due to the ltd availability and high volume of enquires they are receiving. To reserve I had to pay deposit (100%)

I asked the guys that will run the Tom Ford store in Munich that will open in September this year. They knew that they will get items from the SPECTRE collection but couldn't tell me which ones, nor what sizes. Therefore they wouldn't reserve anything either but would contact me if the got anything.
Maybe someone in Munich has more luck.

Last time I spoke to Milan (Ive purchased from in the past) they were in the dark about it all but said they would contact me when they had more info. I have not followed up with them again since I went with London (who seem on the ball with it all).
I was informed that I could have several pieces from John in TF US however I guess like everybody else comms dried up at the payment stage

John doesn't know yet which colour polo he wears, but, rather cryptically, and confusingly, said that he assumed all 3 were going to be used at some point in the film. I can't believe they used all three, but I'm keeping my options open and have ordered all three. I'm just hoping that we get on-set photos from Morocco within the next 60 days so I can get a refund on the ones not used!

Well guys I've pushed the button today and ordered my Tom Ford Gear as follows -
White cocktail cuff shirt
Light blue polo ( praying DC wears this one in morocco as I've got enough navy )
1 grey tie and 1 blue tie.
No credit cards accepted over the phone unless you've bought from Tom ford before , so my overdraft has taken a beating ) hope wifey doesn't find out or I will get another )

Sigh...received a communication from John today that the SPECTRE items will not be delivered until close to the premiere of the movie. Disappointed that a good portion of the winter and all the fall will be behind us. Not to mention I was expecting these items well before October/November. Seems TF is standardizing the delivery so no one worldwide gets upset.

Oh wow. Now it seems everything will be around the time of the release including Matchless. It makes the JV jacket more special that we have it so early.
Doesnt give time to save for the TF stuff mind. Its 100% to reserve them now (both TF US and UK stress most pieces are rather limited)
How wonderful of them to accept 100% prepayment to reserve the items. But I guess if you can afford TF you won't miss the money. What I don't get is why delay shipment to not upset anyone, but allow all the items to theoretically be reserved, thereby upsetting people?
Disappointing, but also hopefully gives us time to find out which colour the polo is. It does mean that we wouldn't, potentially, have to drop a ton of cash come première time on the Matchless and TF goodies in one go, I suppose. Just trying to spot the silver (polo) lining in the cloud...
I don't think its a matter of them holding onto warehouses filled with finished products, rather that they wont release them unless they are all together...my summation of them not rocking the boats was a bit assumptive, but knowing how even the corporate ballast is I think its a good guess...
