I cheekily sent Matchless the pic of the beige / tan Morocco jacket on Instagram asking when it would be available!

The reply was "keep an eye on our website in the fall"

Not surprised. As they have mentioned before their marketing process releases items and information in and around the movie release.

I'm hoping that Bond will wear a pair of brown or tan loafers with the tan jacket outfit. Daniel Craig is yet to wear loafers in one of his films, which I consider to be a Bond staple.

Vuarnet sunglasses are confirmed according to this Bloomberg article. I contacted Vuarnet and they say the vintage VL002 model was used in the film, but I know that Kittlemeier here already said it might be the 027, will try to find out what the difference is.
The Glacier is a current similar model, but not the same as used in the film obviously.

Positive they are not the VL002 model - nothing like them???

The 027 are spot on but believe only the earlier issued ones had the leather nose shield

The ones in the movie look the most like the VL1315 model. But just by a little.

Vuarnet vintage glaciers with a 002 model - looks like the current ones are an update of vintage models:

These look the part, but like most vintage glacier glasses are hard to come by. Had a similar pair years ago, wish I still had them now!

    Hi

They are definitely the Vuarnet 027 model I have spoken with a number of Vuarnet, sellers and repairers some of which have been doing it for 40 odd years.

When Vuarnet first released the Glacier model of which there were originally three, these did not originally have numbers and were just known as "glacier" it was around the 80s they started actually numbering them like the 430, 027 etc.
The 027 model however never normally came with leather over the nose from what I am told but could be bought as an accessory, but then there were a number of special editions which had slight differences Americas Cup models etc for sailing. There have been a number of changed over they years.

However I have been very lucky and found 4 pairs of New Old Stock Vuarnet 027 models which will be in my hand hopefully tomorrow :) most of which are already spoken for.

There is still some NOS out there, like anything people have odd items sitting around that never sold.

Will post some photos once they arrive.

My JV jacket arrived today. I've ordered the wrong size. If there is anyone who wants to trade a large for my XL please PM me. I'm in the UK not too far from London.

Ditto! 1st post for me and nice to meet you all! I'm a huge Bond fan, have a grade school aged son who is also becoming a super fan (his fave is Mr. Connery) and I'm a clothes horse. Saw the JV jacket in an ad or something, looked for it, found you guys, found the maker of the jacket, and I'm now an owner. Now only if it would get cool enough to wear it (live near NYC, USA).
