I presume in the documentary "Everything or Nothing" they film the intro in Pinewood using previous film props and costumes.

Anyhow in the black and white intro we see Bond pour himself a drink using once again the CR tumblers and decanter. You get to see the decanter details better in black and white (though just the tumblers will do for me!!)

I had many websites up yesterday looking at the Tumbler specs. Only one appeared to take VAT off for outside EU and another had 10% off first order (dont ask me which ones as I didnt take note but there are not many stockists so should not be hard to find). I was going to wait to see if Remmert gets a reply before pulling the trigger :)

Jumping in to vocalize my admiration for the detective work in here. And to vocalize my wallet's displeasure.

It is indeed confirmed by Cumbria Crystal that it is the Double (larger) version of the tumbler, have a look at this official image of the two sizes side by side to compare, that also shows the difference is quite big.

Now also on Bond Lifestyle: http://www.jamesbondlifestyle.com/product/cumbria-crystal-grasmere-double-old-fashioned-tumbler including discount code.

With thanks to McGibbits for your one and only, but very useful post on this forum and of course Welshboy for digging that one up :)

    What type of comments, Welshie?

"You're being stingy with the whiskey."

"I don't care if they did serve this in Fleming's Live and Let Die, I don't think it's very good."

"Are you trying to get me drunk?"

    :)) :D :p

Ha - my brother in law was around a few weeks ago and we had a fair bit of whisky. He didn't fit the bill to handle one of these glasses (he is VERY clumsy) so I gave him any old glass while I drank from the CR one. The Mrs gave me a few glares :))

Duralex Picardie. Cheap and suitable for clumsy guests.

Whiskey vs whisky. The age old debate.

Curious... and I may be way off here... but watching the Sam Smith music video there is a scene with Belucci drinking from a high ball glass.. and there is a faintly similar texture to the glass to these... Look a lot alike.. Wonder if they are the same... Considering the repeat of the Duralex from QOS to Skyfall...

This is a Cumbria Crystal Double Old Fashioned glass in the Grasmere design. It is available to purchase as a single glass. There is an Old Fashioned, which is smaller and again available to purchase as a single glass or as many as you require. Grasmere is also the design used in the TV series Downton Abbey. Just put the name into your search engine and a great many sites will come up, from which you can choose to purchase your glass or glasses.

The decanter is by another manufacturer.

    Hope this helps.
