DAF, is now on the BBC radio player, so far I've enjoyed all the radio
Plays of the Bond stories and DAF keeps up the standard. It has a
    great cast and was a great way to pass 90 minutes. -{

Just finished listening to the BBC's version of DAF. Very close to the novel, and very enjoyable. Stacy Keach was a pleasant surprise as Ernie Cureo, but I didn't care much for Jared Harris's interpretation of Seraffimo Spang- as camp as Liberace in a tent, which wasn't the case in the book.
It was good to hear faithful interpretations of such Fleming set-pieces as the Acme Mud & Sulphur bath scene and Spectreville.

Agree about Seraffimo , an odd interpretation.

Was there something about Bond and Japan on the BBC in the week just past? I missed it but the "This week on the BBC" trailer showed a clip from the YOLT special from Whicker's World.

    Missed it too.
I was thinking sitting here watching CR, that when I first watched it, I knew
Nothing of AJB007. It wasn't until QOS, that I went searching for other fans
    of 007. ;)
I can't imagine watching a Bond now, without thinking off all the great people
On AJB. Oh, so and so hates him as Bond, she loves him in anything, That's
    Such and such's favourite soundtrack.
In many ways you can get even more enjoyment out of the films by watching them
Through your AJB mates eyes. :)) {[]

    Thunderbird Too.

I have just returned from a week with my folks in Scotland, and we saw the BBC documentary about Aston Martin on Sunday. I loved the fact Paul Hollywood has a kid like sense of awe towards these cars and his own one in particular. The fact he notes its a convertible DBS in the colour of the QoS car alone speaks volumes that he is also a Bond fan. Modern and classic.

I am getting used to the DB10 now I have seen it in motion, but I still think the grill too big and headlights are too small. The New, new Aston in the documentary and the Vulcan look promising though.

Great programme, well presented. Beautiful cars.
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?
  • ThunderpussyThunderpussy Behind you !Posts: 63,792MI6 Agent
I loved the db10 from the moment it was unveiled. A striking bit of
design, and a glimpse of future Aston design touches to come.
