Any decent spy cameras around - for a TWINE-style meeting?

I don't mean where you end up shooting the other people by pressing a button on your specs. I mean recording the meeting with video and audio using some item about your person. Journos do this all the time but usually with camera in a nearby bag, but that can be obvious and you'd have to place it on the table.

Do some smart phones come with a recording camera for this purpose? Guess they do, mostly for filming conventional stuff, but it would look obvious. I've looked some spy camera up on Amazon, and there is one cool wristwatch, but really you have to point the watch face at the other person to get a picture, surely a bit obvious? Guess you have the same problem going on with a phone, you would have to position it.

The American guy who bugged FIFA at a meeting threw some car keys on the meeting table, again, a bit obvious in most contexts.

Any ideas?

The spy shop has a few. There's even the car key item you describe.

Ta TP, not bad though you'd think a bulky bracelet for the ladies would be in order, that would do it. The coffee cup, does that even hold coffee? I can imagine how all these cameras could go awry, the cleaning lady picking it up and chucking it out, for instance.

They do look fun, for an occasional toy, the glasses also
Look interesting, and you could pretend to have tired eyes
and leave them on a table. ;)

Mmm, not sure about the legality of this. Journalists, when backed by their lawyers in the course of exposing wrongdoing is usually okay but anything else is murky waters & has to be justifiable if the person doing the recording is found out.

Personally if I were conducting business with people whom I felt the need to record I wouldn't do business with them in the first place. Why the video? surely the best course of action is to place one of those hand held recording devices on the table before the meeting starts & inform those present that you are recording for whatever reason. Unless they have something to hide I can't see any cause for objection.

BTW read the Maplins customer reviews contained in the links.
