Whilst driving along today (back from Bluewater) the news on the car radio ,was saying that all the immigrants in Hungary ,are protesting ,that the Hungarians ,have stopped all the outbound trains ,to stem the flow of immigrants ,further into the EU . Well I know we have to feel sorry for them ,having to flee their homes from war .But it does make you wonder where all the women and children are ? . Now if I,and hope to god it never happens ,or TP or AOS had to flee our homes ,im sure the wife and kids will be with us .Call me cynical, but whats wrong with Hungary , its safe ,there is no war , "oh but its not good enough for us the immigrants all cry".it was good enough for Strausse
If the UK would accept any of these refugees, you'd see that many of them travel with their families. At least it's how they arrive here.
Hungary is known not to treat refugees very well - and they keep only a little number of them at the end - most of them are forwarded to other EU countries (mostly Sweden, France and Germany) after they are registered or not.
Another reason is, that only in Germany - everybody has the right to apply for asylum and everybody is guaranteed a court trial, which elaborates their reasons. No other country does that - so where would YOU go?
And I am very sorry, I don't like any negative undertone on that topic.
These people had to leave everything because in their country there is a horrible war.
They deserve that we treat them respectfully and offer them our help. Period.

Turkey took millions, Germany took more than 500.000 and the UK?
