Spectre Soundtrack Listening Order

So... spoilers here: what would be the "correct" listening order for the Spectre soundtrack?

(And those of you smart@sses thinking "None at all" should know that I'm not a fan either, but that's another point entirely)

So here's my two cents:

01 Los Muertos Vivos Están (PTS) [CD01]
02 Day of the Dead (PTS ambient music) [CD18]
03 Writing's on the Wall (Titles) [Single01]
04 Vauxhall Bridge (Meeting with Tanner) [CD02]
05 The Eternal City (DB10 "borrowing", arrival at Rome, funeral) [CD03]
06 Donna Lucia (Bedding the Mafioso's Widow) [CD04]
07 A Place Without Mercy ("Sono Mickey Mouse" :)) ) [CD05]
08 Backfire (Jag vs DB10) [CD06]
09 The Pale King (Finding Mr White was easier than finding the damn Dior Homme jacket) [CD08]
10 Kite in a Hurricane (Ominous Mr White conversation) [CD10]
11 Crows Klinik (can we show some beautiful landscapes or what?) [CD07]
12 Madeleine (some snippets heard during the session with Bond) [CD09]
13 Snow Plane (you DID see the big plane the patients were flown in, didn't you?) [CD11]
14 L'Américain (arrival in Tangier) [CD12]
15 Secret Room (nah, that tape's not important) [CD13]
16 Hinx ("Hey, I JUST wore this tuxedo for the first time, and I was about to order dinner!") [CD14]
17 Writing's on the Wall - Instrumental ("So, what do we do now?") [CD15]
18 Silver Wraith ("Wait a minute - they just tried to kill us and NOW they send a Rolls for us?") [CD16]
19 A Reunion ("Yes, I am your surrogate brother, I was jealous, boo hoo") [CD17]
20 Tempus Fugit ("Weren't you just tortured?" "The thought of having just made a LE $7500 Omega keeps me angry and focused" "Fair enough") [CD19]
21 Safe House ("Nobody knows about this pla... oh, hello, Bond") [CD20]
22 Blindfold (London drive) [CD21]
23 Careless ("C, are you alright?" or "Mind your step") [CD22]
24 Detonation (You remember that net we saw getting in? That was Bond's exit all the time) [CD23]
25 Westminster Bridge (Yeah, I just downed a 'copter with a handgun, deal with it) [CD24]
26 Out of Bullets (self-deprecating double entendre when you come think about it) [CD25]
27 Spectre (End Title) (what he said) [CD26]

Any thoughts?

Having listened to it today... and first time I had it on shuffle... it's quite clear that the tracks are all interlinked. So, although your suggestions are logical, in terms of the tracks flowing, (and as to not have jarred endings on some of the tracks) surely you would listen to it in the order in which the sound track is published???

I'm listening to it that way now... and it's much more 'together'.

Yes, absolutely. What I meant to do is a chronological order for those of us that may want to listen to the music as it appears in the movie.

Album order does offer a more pleasing listening experience, chronological not only includes the title song (not in the CD as you've undoubtedly noticed already) but might be more helpful if you'd like to "rerun" the movie in your head.

I did this with SF and CR too and prefer chronological (what with both albums lacking several tracks, not only the corresponding title song but also the iTunes exclusive bonus tracks released separately).

12 is wrong. The track "Madelaine" comes directly after "L'Americain" whilst Bond and Madelaine are in the hotel room talking about how she came there with her parents when she was younger, just before she goes to bed and before Bond wakes up and discovers the "Secret Room".

Some great music missing from the album - mainly at the beginning. The Music leading up to and including the Gunbarrel is absolutely brilliant and then the helicopter fight leading into some classic Bond theme cues and the bridge into "Writings on the Wall" is absolutely stunning.

You're right. However, there were hints of the track while in the Crows Klinik, as Bond introduces to her as a fake patient. So if you want to be strict you could either place it after L'Américain, as you suggest, or play it twice in both places. If you want to place a track in the order that it is "more used" instead of where it appears first, your suggestion would be better than mine.

Favourite tracks are either the romantic themes like Donna Lucia and Madeleine, and then
action music like Snow Plane and Hinx (menacing approach), and 25 -(orchestral version of The Writing's On The Wall.)

What? They published the soundtrack without the theme song? That must be a first...

Not at all! Casino Royale and SkyFall both lacked the theme song on the soundtrack album.

That's totally weird, if I was a soundtrack collector, I'd be rather disappointed.
