Regrettably it is not a deluxe 50th Anniversary auction size & the bag it is sent out in offers little protection from the Royal Mail numpties! X-(

For (I think) $40 US, the damn thing should be a little bit protected!

I want one but I just can't justify spending the $40 American with the Canadian conversion rate the way it is.

Be aware though that the exposure and colours are way off on the PDF though. Got my hard copy in the post today, amazingly totally undamaged.

Yeah, I've noticed that too - wondered if it was just my phone!
I've ordered my catalogue and looking forward to receiving it. I wonder if there's a way to 'edit' the exposure on the pdf?

Catelogue arrived just now! The very glossy photos show great detail of the items in the auction. A lottery win would come in very handy to go with this brochure :))

My local Royal Mail people are great and it arrived in fine condition but I agree, the packaging isn't very robust.

The Online only items went online today!

Interestingly some observations, the holster being sold is not the one from the poster and the cane in the day of the dead lot is not the cane DC carries with that outfit but rather the one he hits Sciarras henchman with.

Sruzgar, do you know what the difference is between this holster in the auction and the one from the poster ? Curious if there are other detail photos online.. Wanting to build one myself.. The close up function of the auction site is fantastic for getting these details though.

Donk- can you save me a seat in the front row? I'm coming to the ball as well...My other half has managed to snag me an invite. Wear a red carnation in your lapel so I can recognise you!

Some interesting bid levels achieved on the online items already after just barely the first opening full day of bidding.

Although no one seems to want DB's scankey metal thumbnails ...yet! :))

Mainly the holster closure, someone posted a picture online that showed a snap closure which is different than what was seen on the poster.

Holster, cufflinks, clapper board, martini shaker w/ glasses, and Jesper Christensen's Omega already beyond Christie's high end estimates. I wonder how high they will go.

The high res pictures are very interesting. Those cufflinks don't look that appealing to me up close.

Leonards version just as nice, and somewhat better value

Anybody happen to have a pdf copy of the 50 year auction catalogue? Christie's e-version seems to not be up anymore, and it's well sold out. Thanks.
