The Undateables tv series

Does anyone here watch it? A new series has started on channel 4. The series is about people with disabilities as they try and find a boyfriend or girlfriend. I find the series thought provoking and inspiring. People have been saying that the title of the programme is horrible and it implies that disabled people are undateable. I think the title itself represents society's view of disabled people and dating. The programme helps break the stigma.

what are everyone's thoughts?
Have you ever heard of the Emancipation Proclamation?"

    Well I think the title of the programme is certainly unfortunate and not everyone will get the subtlety of meaning there. I have a lot of time for the disabled (a number of members of my family have either mental or physical disabilities) and they have my empathy and respect so any show that highlights their issues and happiness gets the green light from me. That said, I've not seen it but then I watch very little TV these days.

    I actually caught one of those episodes a while back but it was just the last few minutes. It seemed decent enough to be fair. -{

    I saw the title of this thread and thought it was a documentary about my circle of friends in high school ;%

    The title fitted half of my friends in high school. Weirdly half of them were nerds and the other half were very outdoorsy types (mountaineering etc.) Even weirder - there was some overlap :s

    I've seen a couple of the episodes & must report that it is quite good. It deals with it's subject manner in a gentle & non judgmental fashion. The moral of the story being that everyone deserves to find love.
