This looks promising i believe it's adapted from a John Le Carre novel

Really enjoyed Night Manager though! I want to read the book now but I'm going to hold off until I've seen the series because I don't want to ruin the surprise. Oh the discipline!!!!
After last night's episode, I watched it with this thought in mind. It showed Hiddleston a little bit more intense and less reliant on blankie for emotional well being.
Still getting my vote.
Mine to.The arc has him getting tougher all the time. In the first episode he is plausible as the Night Manager with a past, but by episode 2 he is showing his true colours and engaging in very credible fisticuffs with bone crunching efficiency. He can really wear a suit and moves well with gravitas. Not saying that he is the only man for the job, but so far I would be more than ok with him. He's the right age to be young enough and have experience (I'm worried about the potential for a 12 year old wet behind the ears Bond) he has that Officer vibe that Mrs Zaphod misses. All in all a good candidate. His profile is such (known but not too well known) that he must surely be in the running. Give him another look Grassy old chap.
Doesn't have that look when playing Loki in the Thor/Avengers movies - I'd say he'd make a very credible Bond
I'm really enjoying this series, it's a bit removed from the book but only to modernise it I think. After last night episode while hiddleston was laid up recovering was anyone else reminded of
DC in CR or literary bond who ended up in bed recovering in a few novels?

supposed to resemble.
especially good. -{ even the opening titles are terrific. One of the things I like is the camera work
some of the close ups during a dramatic sequence are only inches from the actors face, so you can
really see the expressions in their eyes. -{
The show has taken an interesting turn as well. I'll be interested to see what Corky does next...
still amusing but with a sneering undercurrent, and a hint of violence. -{
The rumour is that there will be a 2nd series.
The crap they put out.
But back to the Night Manager, I am seriously thinking about trying the Le Carre books. Obvs, wont be as good as Fleming. But in the absence of any more Bond books at the moment, need something else to read.
It looks like SPECTRE the way that London Spy "looked" like Skyfall - really showing off the locations instead of muting them. Can't wait for episode 4.
BTW - I really liked SPECTRE but this is truly another league. If you like DC's take on a contemporary Bond and you're not watching this you are really missing out. It's what EON should be aiming for.
