As you know stag I drive an Alfa romeo gt, I'm a bit of an Alfa enthusiast, I'm on my second gt after my first one in nero black was written off late last year by an obviously blind driver( long story)
My current one is a cloverleaf edition in sterling silver ( a nice bond connection there as in Robert sterling :)) I've had many different marque's, jaguar, BMW, range rover even an ex services volvo v70 t5 and contrary to popular belief all my alfas 6 in total have been the most reliable.
The gt offers all I want in a car, and I love the styling and it is a consumate grand tourer.

I've got a 2011 Ford Everest - bought it when we settled here a couple of years ago and it's been really good - some of the roads on my side of the island have a few potholes and it copes admirably with them. I fancy a Ford Mustang and there's a nice one for sale in the city but not sure how it will fare.
Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.

Nothing too exciting - a black 2008 Fiesta Zetec 3 door I bought about 5 years ago. My mechanic gave her an overhaul this week as she wasn't driving too good. I'm not really a "car person" as many men undoubtedly are, in the sense of knowing all the speeds etc. - in fact that stuff all bores me to tears. As long as it starts and takes me from A to B I coluldn't care less about anything else!

2014 Suzuki Swift GL. It's a lot smaller than my previous car (1997 Ford Fairmont) but it manages to carry all 4 of us (my wife & I and our 2 young daughters) and all of their stuff. Fuel economy is brilliant, and it has a bit of grunt too.
My twin brother are planning on taking a road-trip to Adelaide in November (1540km round trip) - after it gets a service. :)

2012 Silver Ford Escape. It's name is Wile E. Scape. I love Wile E Coyote and have a small toy that rides shot gun on the rear view mirror. It just seemed right to adapt the Wile E Coyote name into the Escape.

My BMW X5 had a few problems so got rid of it recently and picked up a cheap Audi 2.5 A4 convertible to do for a while. I am not finding it comfortable to drive and the rifle case does not fit in the boot so keeping an eye out for a reasonably price Jag XF.

    Some nice cars there.

It was interesting to hear Snipers take on the Audi as that model was on the shortlist when I was shopping for my current car (it would have been a new one though).

As for the swift, my wife owned one & it indeed proved a good car. Don't laugh but she has a Dacia Sandero diesel bought new & I can tell you it doesn't half have some grunt. Much better than her previous car, a Ford Fiesta.

My car is a 2014 Volvo V40 D3 R Design diesel which I've owned since new. It can get down the road sharpish when required.

A 'Bondian' addition is the dash cam I have installed on the front screen.

The photos have been pulled off the net for illustration purposes.

That's my take on things AS. Mortgage free & a healthy pension I figure it's no good being the richest man in the graveyard. We're all ticking time bombs with unreliable fuses so when we want anything we have it.

When I get rid of mine I am thinking about replacing it with the new Freelander.

Cherish it, worship it, and love it - as a car. Drive safely as its much more than that!!

I had limited use of a Golf GIT in 1998. I haven't driven since then.
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?

I tend to hold onto cars for a long time. I still drive a 1996 Mustang Cobra but I have a few other vehicles that get most of the share of miles.

I too keep cars for ages, only changing when I have to. :)
That's bound to be good for the environment.

I do like a Mustang , we have them now in the UK ,Ford have started to sell them over here .There isn't a day that goes by when you see one ,they are very loud and normally have a foot wide stripe going over the hood and roof .Trouble is, Dollar for pound they are twice the price you would pay for one in the U.S

I would love to have a 2017 Mustang GT with the 5.0 liter engine. I just don't want a car payment and would rather use that money for other things, like padding my savings account for a rainy day. I love cars and really enjoy keeping them up to scratch. I take pride in everything I own.

I am amazed at base horsepower in cars these days. When I was in high school, the car to beat was the 88-93 Mustang GT with 225hp. Nowadays, the GT has 430hp right out of the box. Amazing.

I just still drive a 2000 Toyota Echo. Given how indestructible it is, I am not sure I will have another car in my life, even though it's worth less than my watch - blue wave automatic Bond Omega Seamaster 300m. And I never have problems parking in the city!

I have two cars a 1998 Mazda mx5 with low milage and a 2011 Ford kuga.
Currently thinking of changing either the Mazda for a slightly more upmarket car, but still a modern classic, ie a Early Porsche Boxster, or a early Mercedes SLK, and Z3 or a TVR. Or waiting six months and trading them both in for something like a Porsche Cayman or Z4 coupe.
