I think in this day of lawsuits and compensation the zoo can't be blamed for their actions, the gorilla is a sad and tragic loss. That such an important and majestic animal has died due to bad parenting is a travesty. I've got 4 children ( from 2 marriages) the youngest is 20 months and when out in potentially dangerous places he and our 6 year old are never out of reach. Irresponsible parents are far too common these days.
Why has the TV channel Yesterday started playing sitcoms???? I love the documentary's and educational programmes and blackadder has some historical significance ( as well as being damn funny) but they've started showing some real crap. Aren't there enough channels showing crap already?

I went out today to meet the lads for lunch quick beer ,burger,bit of footie , couple of laughs ,then time to go .Now I don't know if any of you are familiar with the Blackwall tunnel ,but its a curse on London ,I left Canary Wharf at 3-30 and got home at 5-30 ,for what is normally a 25 min journey ,Stuck in the car for 2 hours ,I had to come home via Tower bridge .Both sides of the river are completely gridlocked .Apparently there was yet another crash in the pipe south bound ,ie my way home .I really cant see why the morons who run the tunnel ,just cant get a tow truck down there ,tow the offending vehicle out the way ,and let the rest of London get on with its business .I HATE THE BLACKWALL TUNNEL X-(

Despite the morals of all this - I see 12 people yesterday were arrested allegedly hours away of committing a terror attack in connection of the Euro tournament. We live in scary times!!!

If one wants to stop your country from becoming a police/surveilance state, having a couple of AK-47's and a dozen other guns is no help. What one must do is to stop or at least curtail such a development, by prsotesting and voting smartly.
