I hate when people from foreign countries stick their nose into U.S. politics. I invite you to come live in the United States to try it out. THEN you can spout off as you please.

This is a free forum where anyone can say whatever they wish as long as they remain respectful. We have Americans discussing Brexit without being accused by Europeans of 'spouting off' and non-Americans are more than welcome to discuss American politics here. Not only is everyone entitled to an opinion, but furthermore, as what happens in the U.S. effects everyone in the world, everyone in the world is more than welcome to 'stick their nose' into the U.S. election with their opinions. It's called freedom of speech. Whether you agree with someone's opinion is entirely up to you but if you don't like the opinions of others, I would suggest you avoid this and all other political topics on this board and stick to James Bond subjects only.

Well put. Perhaps you should look at it differently. Foreigners' interest in US politics is a result of your country's influence and the fasination it holds, but also shows that presidential elections still matter. No-one cares about Chinese or Russian elections because they don't matter.
I apologize if I came off too strong for you. It's hypocritical for you to brand a whole group as you accuse Trump of doing.

Its rich that foreigners lecture natives of their own country when all they know about candidates is what they here from the shows.

I may have overstepped when I commented on Trump supporters and I opologize for it. But you don't know what my sources about the US elections are, but I can promise you it's not from "shows". I think we are both guilty of making assumptions - I hope we can do better in the future :)

I think there is genuine interest in the presidential election, as America effects the world. :)

Personally, I never watch 'the shows'. I have absolutely no interest in anything any late-night television host has to say and I couldn't care less what any celebrity has to say on anything other than making films/music. Instead, I listen to everything every source has to say, directly from the horse's mouth whenever possible, and read everything I can find - left, right, supposedly centre - and then form my own opinions. After a while you become more and more cynical about everything, but at least you're not just blindly believing the opinions of every newsreader, journalist and pundit.

With the exception of TP: I blindly believe everything he says. Always.

Yes, TP is always believable :007)
I sometimes watch late night shows on youtube, but never for political information. I too like to have many sources of information; books, newspapers, Newsweek magazine, BBC World Service, other TV news programs etc.
I think it's healthy and interesting.

Firstly, I never believe anything on youtube or blogs, to do with politics. As everyone tries to
twist facts to suit their personal beliefs. I use the tried and trusted method of visiting the
local wise woman " for she is wise and she is old" for a small token ( usually your debit card
number and pin code, for ritualistic reasons from the mists of time ) and she is good, she once
told me there'd be £200 missing from my bank account in the morning, and she was Right !

Yes, the tried and tested path of astrology. Nancy Reagan always consulted her astrologer, and Ronald Reagan often consulted his wife on politics. That turned out fine - did you notice how he never invaded iraq?

Nothing wrong with worshiping owls at Bohemian Grove, I go every year. Stripping off and
running round the woods as we burn a huge figure of an owl. To think some people think
    that's odd. ;)

As with anything no matter how many jokes are made about the candidates, at the end
Of the day, we all vote for who we think is best. :)

The country is so far LEFT VS RIGHT now. More then ever. Republicans shut democratic policies down, and Dems will shut Republican policies down.

There is no medium, no comprises, no agreeing whatsoever. It's more divided then ever. With Hilary it's another 4-8 years of Obama. No progress. More divide.

Now I'm not saying Trump is going to be a great President. He might be horrible and do severe damage. But I'll be voting for him because he's not in it as a career politiciam, he's a businessman. He knows how to get stuff done. Simple. He is the BEST chance America has at coming together and making progress. He leans more in the middle then people think and I believe he will be able to balance the
wants and needs of both parties.

Some of the most controversial Presidents were the best. Lincoln was elected and half the country seceded because of it. Think if that was to happen Today. Yet Lincoln is known as one of the if not the best President. Something to think about.

I'd say that he's the best chance that the entire planet ends in a confrontal desaster.
And it's really beyond me why you vote for someone for the most powerful job - while thinking "that he may be horrible and do severe damage" - just because he's not a politician.

It's a bit like never having driven a car - never have taken driving lessons and buying a supercar.

"Driving lessons - how boring. That's what everybody does! Let's try something different - it may be dangerous and cause some severe damage but it may be some fun for a change".

Sometimes I hope that they bring back political lessons to schoolclasses :s

It's ignorant to judge him only by personality. I suggest you look at the the candidates records. Example: Hillary voted for the Iraq war. Donald trump was opposed to it his entire life.

Has Trump been in favour of anything his entire life apart from money and himself? :))
