Honestly (and I hope im wrong) I applaud her intentions but think the amount she has let in etc is very dangerous in these times. I hope these last few weeks are just a blip and not the start of something huge.
I hate to say it but there will be further escalation in one respect or another, taking in refugees is an honourable thing to do, but limited in its effectiveness and also creates further problems. At some point governments will need to show more humanitarian leanings to others and to their own citizens firstly. The UK has a good historical humanitarian record.
