Eaglemoss has just launched a test version of the Bond In Motion partwork in Italy - but it's been renamed "James Bond Auto Collection", see here:
    http://www.eaglemoss.com/it-it/modellismo/james-bond-auto-collection/

The INTERESTING part, though, is the three gifts that are being offered to subscribers ... gift number 2 is the Aston Martin DB10 from Spectre {[]
    https://www.eaglemoss-secure.com/bond-motion-it-orderarea/orderarea.html
(this is the page you get to if clicking "Abonnati subito" [= "subscribe now"] from the first page)
The page shows a picture of the actual car in the movie, not a model, but I guess it won't be too long before the model starts appearing on eBay.

Edit: The main page of the website has been updated since I posted this and the additional information indicates that the DB10 will be actually be subscriber gift number 3, which will go out with Issue #6. So maybe still 12 weeks or so in the future before any released units appear on eBay, but maybe sooner if there are any "out the back door of the factory" ones made available by the Chinese eBayers.

That's interesting info - thanks, FACT. I'd prefer the DB10 issued not as a subscriber gift to get it easier but so they won't even have to produce a magazine. Although I guess in England it will be released as a standard issue as there were different gifts shown.

I have noticed in the terms that this collection will only be 20 cars ("ogni 20 uscite" = all 20 issues) + 4 non-cars (Dragon tank, Acrostar, Moon Buggy and Bondola for an additional €1.50 each for subscribers only) + Little Nellie and DB10 as gifts. And four of the cars are already shown as being DB5's: both GF versions (issues 1 and 4), SF (issue 6) and TB (shown below, not yet numbered). With three cars (with the Phantom III) already from GF, there won't even be every film represented.

I have not heard anything about another 1:43 DB10 or the C-X75. Hot Wheels or Spark have not announced them at the Nuremberg fair. For "code 3's" I have noticed that the Mercedes G63 seen at Blofeld's lair is available from Spark (would only need proper number plate decals), and Premium X made a Range Rover Sport similar to the one used in the Austrian chase scene.

    Mercedes G63 AMG (Spark S1083):

Finally, at last, notification from Corgi USA that my "Spectre" DB10 is in stock and ready for shipment. Will I be disappointed?

Anyone got any ideas as to why we still haven’t seen a 1:43 scale DB10 or Jaguar C-X75?

I was wondering if Eaglemoss had been granted a 1:43 licence due to the Bond in Motion publication and that nobody else could produce the models until the licence expires/the new publication ceases to go ahead.

    Hi to all,
No too much activity here...but still some news in Code4 (and JB code 3 'on the way') :))

Well done on continuing with your series, DDenis.
I believe the Tucker automobile was officially known as the Tucker 48 (for 1948), but commonly called the Torpedo.

Still no sighting of Eaglemoss's 1/43 Aston Martin DB10 that's being produced as a subscriber gift for the James Bond Auto Collection in Italy. It was scheduled to go out to Italian subscribers with Issue 6 and, if my calculations (and translations) are correct, Issue 6 is due out on 15 June 2016.

As Rainier Wolfcastle mentioned above in post 7234, no model manufacturer appears to have taken an option on the Jaguar C-X75 as yet (a belated thanks for that info, RW, and the info on the Mercedes SUV & Range Rover Sport options for Spectre!).

Thanks to RW also for that useful list of James Bond models produced by Minichamps I saw on another thread - a wishlist to slowly work through as opportunity (& funds) permit :)

Hi new to the forum. I've just subscribed to the James Bond car collection on the website. It is saying there are 82 issues is that correct? . I was browsing on eBay and saw a collection with over 130. Could someone explain for me please. Thanks jay

Surprised no one jumped in on this one yet.

The current collection (Bond in Motion) is a reissue of most of the original collection (James Bond Car Collection). The current collection is supposed to have 82 vehicles (including the possibility of some new ones). The older collection of 134 cars is no longer being issued by you can still find some on eBay at higher prices. This is the way I got my JBCC vehicles since I live in the USA.

You can find a complete list of all the JBCC models on Wikipedia.

More established board members, please correct me if needed!

One of the Mattel 1/18 scale Aston Martin DB5 'Goldfinger' models (code CMC95) has been recently released, there is a review of it on this link (MAR Online):
    http://www.maronline.org.uk/news-from-the-continent-june-2016-mattel/
I believe that there is another, more expensive version still in the pipeline, to match the 1/18 scale DB10 from 'Spectre' that Mattel is apparently still working on.

Still no sighting of the Italian partwork 1/43 scale Aston Martin DB10 via the usual eastern eBayers, but the website doesn't show any change so I presume it's still on the way.

I had the 1/18th model -- actually there were to be two (one standard, one deluxe), similar to their handling of the Batmobile -- on pre-order for a good year via a US site but was advised just a few days ago that Mattel have canceled production.

Interesting development, thanks for the update.

The model that has been released is from Mattel's *Entertainment* series. Models from this range are said to have opening doors but no other features and, as per the linked review (from a contributor in Germany), this model adds only a removable roof panel to its opening doors. One UK shop is listing this model at £70, with the more expensive version (still listed there for pre-order at present) at £190.

The Spectre DB10 is also listed as costing £190 (on pre-order).

The more expensive 1:18 DB5 version (BLY20) is still shown on hotwheels-elite.com but the site seems deserted since last year. The CMC95 DB5 and the DB10 are still not yet listed.

Coming back to 1:43 - looks like Bond in Motion has now started in the USA with a different issue 1 than in Europe - the TB DB5 (price is $19.95 on the magazine):

    s-l1600.jpg

Next US issues planned for July-August are:

    02 - DAF Mustang
    03 - DAD XKR
    04 - GE Z3
    05 - YOLT Toyota
    06 - CR DBS
    07 - FYEO 2CV
    08 - TSWLM Esprit (submarine)
    09 - DAD Thunderbird
    10 - TMWTGG Hornet
    11 - OHMSS Cougar
12 - CR Range Rover Sport
    13 - TND 750iL
    14 - LALD Corvorado

Nothing we don't know already - and no signs of the DB10 ...

The link provided was for an eBay ad. Eaglemoss is now offering subscriptions directly to US customers here - https://www.007car-collection.com/index.php. Nothing new as far as I can see.

Is it my imagination or did they remove the figures from most of the offered vehicles?

I found it interesting to see what is being offered in the USA, thanks.

It certainly looks like the figures have been dropped as some prominent ones are obviously missing from models such as the Toyota 2000GT, the 2CV and the half-Renault 11. I suppose having hand-painted figures adds a fair bit in labour to the cost of production.
