I know this is a stretch for some, but I like Daniel's more The lining, wool, and insulation all feel extremely thorough. And I'm not afraid to live in it. Thanks for all your hard work Daniel. It doesn't go unappreciated by all of us.

I have a feeling it's more of a general double zipper issue more than anything. I'm very pleased with these zippers and I think my one tip would be to make sure both zip pulls are at the very bottom before trying to engage. Because the right side is pulled up and out to disengage, both the pulls will pop up a little too.
I received a jacket on return from an Aussie customer (sizing issue) who said the same thing sticky zipper. Honestly, to me it was the smoothest zipper in the world, which made me think what the issues may be. Just ensure both the pulls are at the very bottom before trying to engage, sometimes you'll feel a slight click as both of them relocate at the bottom.
If the issue is disengaging, try unzipping it with a little bit of momentum, holding the right side of the jacket and unzipping with the left hand... hopefully these are helpful tips and bear in mind that metal zippers will take a while to break-in so to speak.
I can't say I've really had any issues with these zips, but I'm so used to this style of zipper as there is a bit of a knack to the old double zipper.
If you're still having trouble you can lubricate the teeth with a lead pencil, which is a neat trick to make it as smooth as possible.

And in and of itself, it wasn't a bad jacket in terms of looks and function — it just turned out to have little resemblance to the Tom Ford.

My first post on ajb, and hopefully an interesting one! Just received my Solden Jacket from Royale Filmwear, and I absolutely love it. Fits perfectly, snug but roomy, and is really warm! The look of it is really nice and met my expectations. Great job by Daniel! As I make James Bond fan films, I'm stocking up the wardrobe, and this is a fantastic addition. I'll post some photos when I've worked out the image posting feature

That would depend upon where. In the snow could mean anything from 0 to -30 deg c
The TF is designed as a mid layer really. So my opinion is no. But if you layer enough beneath with quality layers then perhaps if just below freezing

All my jackets are hanged on cedar coat hangers - about $10ea on Amazon

Thinking the same thing about the super.natural combustion jacket when I first found out about the black TF.
