It had to happen sooner or later. Not the "Killer Clown" phenomenon itself (no one saw that coming, did they?!) but an AJB discussion thread on the subject.

To start us off here is a recent story from the Daily Telegraph:

What is the object of these clowns? Are they sinister or pranksters or a mad mixture of both?

    I read today there is a guy in Wales dressed up as Batman who has decided to fight these clowns :D

    When your dressed up as a killer clown outside little kiddie schools (and also holding Baseball bats and fake chainsaw props) I think its a step too far and a matter of time before a Pensioner has a heart attack. Hope they get whats coming to them

    Weve been having a bit of chat about this on the random chat thread, I was saying how if one of these idiots jumped out at me or stuck his head through my car window he'd be spending some considerable amount of time removing his red nose from his a+se end..... While still wearing it. The story this week about one chasing a lone woman through a park just sums up this ridiculous trend!

    ^ Yes, a Facebook friend used such an image yesterday. He was the original 'Killer Clown' you could say. As always, James Bond is the innovator!

    There was a spate of them a few years back in England. I guess it's one of those things that just spreads. Apart from the remake of "It", there was a killer clown in American Horror Story a season or two ago. there's even a fear named after them - Coulrophobia ...

    Also wasn't one of America's most notorious serial killers a kids party clown? John Wayne Gacey or something.
    I just keep thinking of that clown under the bed in scary movie who got more than he wanted :))
