    I have to admit I find it quite eyebrow raising ( :p ) that there are people on here that don't enjoy Rogers films at all! It really does surprise me. Particularly when the Brosnan era does not seem to attract the same critical eye from those Roger naysayers. Though I appreciate the fact that people don't enjoy Roger so horses for courses. However surely you guys can appreciate the artistry on display in some of his films. Such as the amazing John Barry scores, the stunning Ken Adam and Peter Lamont set design, and amazing stunts (Spy ski jump, the Moonraker pre-titles, For Your Eyes Only Pre-titles, Golden Gun barrell roll to name just a few) that are performed and are done for real. I have to admit that I greatly enjoy Roger's films, but say if I didn't these elements would still be enough to put them over the top of films like DAD, which features heavy cgi and lacks (in my opinion) strong set design. After all, the aesthetic and music of Bond films is one of the major reasons the films are still successful.

    Most certainly, Sir Rog had some great moments in the role. For me, someone simply has to be last. I too love him as an actor and as a humanitarian. Long life and good health to him! -{
