POLL: How much do you spend?

Hi guys,

I'm doing a bit of research for a Bond lifestyle project I'm working on and I've created a little poll.

Basically, I want to know how much money (£ and/or $), each year, you spend on James Bond memorabilia, collecting, lifestyle stuff. It's anonymous so your significant other won't hit the roof if they find out.

Thank you,

Ian

Poll answered but it's a tad subjective with some variable spending each year so I averaged it out over the last 5 years. The reason I say this is that some years I may have bought a watch (or two or three) other years it may just be my annual Sunspel polo refresh. Expenditure varying wildly as you can imagine.

Hope it helps interested to know the end state you are seeking and why

    Thanks Bond44.

I can't say too much about the project yet. Sorry, old man, section 26, paragraph 5. Need-to-know. Sure you understand.

Interesting to see the stats at the end of the poll. (Canoe2, you'll like this one, it has stats). I think you may have needed a few selections greater than 1000 $/£ to get a more accurate estimate :)) I would imagine that for many 1000 $/£ isn't even 1/10 of what is spent on Bond related memorabilia.

I have to agree with others...I think you need some more robust levels of spend if you are going to provide any accuracy or inisghts for your project...1000+ doesn't create the 'a-ha' moment that I think you are looking for....

    I would have:
    $1000-$5000
    $5000-$15,000
    $15,000-$30,000
    $30,000-$50,000
    $50,000 plus

SPECTRE less so but still included a certain watch. But Skyfall I could imagine it was not that far off over the last 5 years (large lump sum amounts every so often like watches make up a fair percentage of that but they are my thing as I treat them as wearable investments I can enjoy and are versatile/ multi use). Each to his own!

I take your points about the huge amounts and the somewhat limited values I gave. However, for what I need - the 1000+ will suffice. But along with your individual comments I am able to paint a more rich picture which, I promise, will remain anonymous.

I think that it's only fair to say, seeing as you are all kindly entering into this poll, that this is for the end of a James Bond Lifestyle book project.
