T & A TWINE tie

After watching TWINE the other night on Sky sent for the T&A tie as thought it looked great with the blue suit/white shirt.
It arrived today and it looks just as good in the flesh - last of my "Self-Xmas presents" :007)
Very quick delivery as well

With that outfit I always thought it was Black 3 Piece suit was in Navy Blue?

The suit isn't blue. I believe it is charcoal, though some have claimed it is black.

Yes, think it's been said it was a dark charcoal pin stripe. It looks very dark on screen; blue ray might give a better look. The background to the tie is black but the other colours will mean it can look good with a dark blue suit - which is what I actually meant

This is my first "Brosnan piece" but it did look smart on Sky HD

so I went for it!

Various shirts that will complement this tie as well. Looking forward to trying it with a few different combinations!

Since you have a black suit and a dark grey herringbone jacket, the tie goes with those. Very dark blue will clash with a black tie. A lighter blue suit that will show a clear contrast between the suit and tie could work.

Did T&A ever release the other TWINE ties? were they made by T&A?

T&A made the blue and brown chevron tie worn with two suits and the red dotted tie. They probably also made the knitted tie in Scotland. Herbie Frogg made the pipeline tie.

Herbie Frogg is still around but don't make the right one anymore.

yeah I know Connery especially re-wore a lot of his wardrobe which was great. Its just in the new era of Bond I always expect him to be wearing a new tie in every scene.

T&A do a Brosnan Collection of 3 ties from:- TWINE, DAD and TND. No discount for buying all 3 together though

Love that tie and have one myself. It's a bit tricky to pull off (and there's a few hilarious tumblr posts out there about this tie specifically). I suspect Hemming chose the colors for this tie so that it would still look good after being splashed with murky river water...

Fun fact; I'm about 99% sure Alec Baldwin wears the 3rd tie in that set (TND?) in Mission Impossible Rogue Nation.
