The Most Famous Car in the world

In my ever lasting search for 007 books, I found this booklet/ brochure dated 1994 on the James Bond Aston Martin DB5. It is written by Dave Worrall. Anyone familar with this booklet?

    It's a book, not booklet. The ultimate guide to the history of the Connery Astons. Abvailable in hardback and paperback coffee table sized book. You can still pick them up on Ebay and Amazon.

    Thank you for quick response. Much appreciated. Sorry about the expression booklet. Please contribute it to my non native English. I already purchased the book some time ago. I have got the paperback version. The book has some great details on the Aston Martin.

    To be precise Dave called it a Portfolio and released it to include material he either did not have room for in his original Famous Car masterpiece or items he had been made aware of or sourced after Famous Car had gone to print -{

    I don't have this book but it looks great! Both of you will probably know that the real thing is on display at the Louwman Museum in The Hague.

    The one at the Louwman is one of the tour cars, not screen used.

    No one knows where the real one is :( Well, a few people do, but they aren't going to tell us anytime soon.

    I have a copy of this in my collection too. I remember the day it arrived at my home, I did not want to put the book down I was enjoying reading so much. I also liked how their was a section on the Aston Martin Volante from The Living Daylights.

    On the Academy Awards broadcast they called the DeLorean from Back To The Future "the most famous car in movie history". Almost as big a mistake as the La La Land/Moonlight fiasco!

    :)) I saw that too! When they made us wait to hear what the most famous car in movie history was, I was hoping it was gonna be the Aston, but part of me knew it was too good to be true. Not a bad car to lose to, but I would be interested in knowing how they came to that conclusion.

    Lunacy and madness... Also which film company was funding... Hoping to get to drive a couple of classics on Monday when I go back to pick mine up after its service (and some "fun" work) is done...
    Vanquish / db5 / dbs were mentioned
    We'll see :)
