Sorry. I somehow misset both of those posts. I probably just read the last posts when visiting AJB. An eagle is likely the right answer. :007)
Even though I can see both the fields sheep (later in the year) grace on and an Eagle's Nest from my window, nothing like that has happened here. But in the north back in in 1932 a three and a half year old girl was found in an eagle's nest on a mountain. The experts claim a bird couldn't have lifted her, but how else can it be explained?

A poor picture, but if you look closely you can see the eagle in the centre. We were warned by the handler that this bird could easily pick up a medium-sized dog and fly away. (This was in Wales, just under a year ago.) A 3-yr old weighs about the same as a medium-sized dog, or a lamb.

Yes, I belive an eagle could lift a toddler.

There are eagles that specialise in dragging goats off mountains and dropping them to kill them.
AS I SAID EARLIER a bird of prey is the most likely suspect, Eagle owls have wingspan getting up to nearly 2 meters and I'm pretty sure Norway will have decent sized eagles, golden eagles have been known to take lambs and even foxes!!

As a part of Brexit the British society must return to pre-EU membership standards. The Mail is simply leading the way in the treatment of women. Soon the BBC will get a Monopoly again and men in the City will all wear bowlers hats :D

Let me introduce you the new guest in the House of Higgins - Max

We had frosty nights with snow for 1 week and he probably wandered around searching for food all that time.
He has been found 2 days ago and will spend winter with us.

Pic is crappy but I don't want to use a flash for obvious reasons

    fullsizerenderxp9dtarhfs.jpg

    Ok quick update on Max.

He has now around 550 grams but is not gaining weight.
Vet found stomach worms today and some other monads in his stool - they have developed as well as Max himself.

So he's gotten the worm shot today and will receive another one in 2 days.
Then he'll be treated against the monads - hopefully then gain some weight and will be put outside for hibernation then.

He's very strong and cool - I've never seen a hedgehog caring less about a shot than him - but he's by far the messiest hedgehog that I have ever had. Which means Sh*t everywhere - every morning - even in front of his nose when he's sleeping 8-)

Just wanted to give you an update on Max.

He went into hibernation on Christmas Eve with 700 gramms.
Yesterday, he woke up and has around 640 gramms - without food!

Isn't it amazing that he can live from 50 gramms of fat for more than 3 months under some really deep temperatures?

Next week, he'll be set free - he can't wait - trying to escape from his box.

Today the The Left (a social liberal party) had their national convention. One of the speakers was the leader of the Christian People's Party. He was invited to do stand-up and tell political jokes, and he killed it!
Can you picture something like this happening in your country? :))
  • ThunderpussyThunderpussy Behind you !Posts: 63,792MI6 Agent
William Hague could do it. ;)

He should, then. It's sheet and a healthy sign for society when something like this happens. Imagine if Hillary Clinton could turn up at the Republican convention, tell jokes and show them a good time! Or Trump doing stand-up for the Democrats' convention? I actually think he could have done well if he wanted to.
