    Well, he was plain stupid.
Ordering those options so short noticed and so many with a consumer credit rang the alarm bell of his bank.
He used the hotel's WIFI to place the order and when he checked in, he complained that his room had no street view.

After the attack when everything went wild, he calmly went to the restaurant and ordered his dinner.

It seems that he was not very bright in all his plannings. His chances for not getting caught after all this where less than zero :D
And yes, he should get charged for terrorism - but unfortunately that won't happen.

It's remarkable how some people think being clandestine is so easy, with training you can make yourself invisible, and with some smart planning he could have have pulled this off. Thankfully he sounds like an amateur, and a dangerous one at that.
Using Islamic extremism as a misdirection tool would only work if he followed the m.o used by such people, which he wouldn't be aware of unless he was in law enforcement or a terrorist cell. He should be charged with terrorism along with attempted murder, fraud, wounding with intent, wreckless endangerment, bomb making and stupidity!

Let's assume that before the attack, Dortmund stock was 40.
You buy a contract to sell the share next monday for that price.

If the share goes down to 30 after the attack, you make 10 profit with each contract because now you can buy them for 30 but can sell for 40.
Multiply that with 15000 contracts and you win a lot of money.

Thanks Dr Higgy-poo, it makes complete sense now. I couldn't figure out how you make quick money by stock plummeting. Makes sense.

Exactly. But he should have realised that if a criminal mastermind like Le Chiffre couldn't get away with it, neither would he!

Great story today about Tom Hardy catching a moped thief and declaring " I caught the cnut" his words not mine. I like Hardy a lot he's my kind of guy. Reminded me of the story about DC who stepped in to break up a fight in Italy some years ago while he was just having a coffee. :)

My four year-old nephew has now questions new things. Rescently he opened up to the idea that the houses far away from the window at home may not be as small as they look. I think he's on to something :)

4 people in London have been stabbed to death last weekend ,a decorated ex naval officer murdered trying to stop thieves stealing his car .theres probably more ,but murders now don't make the front page any more . So what are the powers that be doing about it ??? .well theres a lot of people dying due to pollution ,so lets put all our efforts into banning diesel cars that law abiding people have purchased in good faith as recommended by the powers that be :s ,welcome to the UK a country run by public school educated morons .
By the way, did I tell you, I was "Mad"?

And yet arguably the major proponent of the diesel scrappage scheme is London's mayor Sadiq Khan (did not go to public school), and let's not forget that the person who ignored all the evidence that they were not great for the environment, and who encouraged everyone to buy diesel cars from 2002, was Gordon Brown (did not go to public school).

I never understand why the government of the day always takes the bullet for previous governments blunders and catastrophic failures?? It annoys me everytime I here the current government being blamed for austerity cuts.... Has everyone forgotten the shambolic state the last labour government left the countries finances in? Had they done a better job we wouldn't have a huge national debt and cuts wouldn't have been as necessary! The whole diesel debacle is just that! A debacle initiated by a Labour government.

There has been less activity on AJB lately, simply because so many key members weren't here.

It's a crispy salty breadstick in a noodle pastry.

It was my first local food on my first time in Hong Kong (many moons ago...) and I still love it.
You can only find it in local places and I have "my shop" in Shatin. Noone speaks english (or german :D ) there but when I enter, they wait if I lift one or 2 fingers up and they make sure that they are extra crispy for me.
