    Excellent review canoe -{ I had kinda the same feeling as you, while I've always thought the outfit in the movie was great, i've just felt like "what's the big deal with the jacket, sure it looks good, but it's just a plain boring standard black jacket". Having actually got it in my hands and being able to wear it now, oh man have those thoughts changed. I've already mentioned how great the fit is on me, but I can also see now how versatile the jacket is going to be. I can definitely see it becoming one of the key pieces of my wardrobe due to the wide range of things it can be worn with!

    I fully agree about the fluff magnet comment...every time i've gotten it out of the wardrobe the past few days to try it on (and strut around in front of the mirror...more times than i'd care to admit), I've been shocked at how much it picks up!

    I tossed mine in the dryer on the lowest heat with a couple of those dryer anti-static sheets for about 10 minutes. Helped a lot with that and got rid of most of the shipping wrinkles!

    Thanks Dan! Seriously, great work again! And I have lost about 15 pounds. But I should be gaining that back soon so I'm happy sticking with my normal size. {[]

    I thought you had! Thanks so much for your incredibly detailed review, extremely well written and excellent photos showing the details. You really have done wonders with Iconic Alternatives John, it's certainly a brilliant resource. I'm pleased you mentioned how the Haiti wasn't your favourite jacket from the film, but like a lot of people (myself included) it tends to be the one you grab at a moments notice. Looks great on you by the way, perhaps just move the buttons in of the cuff slightly and you'll get a nice fit through the cuff and lower forearm. In regards to the dryer... I'm on the fence with that one!!! :)) I still say a garment steamer will be the absolute best bet for keeping the jacket wrinkle free and looking mint.

    Thanks again for what you're doing with Iconic, I'm looking at a new pair of brown chukkas based on your considerable ground work :)

    Thanks Dan! And to be clear: the quick spin in the dryer was not to remove the wrinkles. It was so the dryer sheets could reduce the static cling and help with the fabric attracting lint, hair, etc. My jacket actually showed up pretty wrinkle free. I didn't do anything to it before I took the photos.

    If you soak and wring out the dry sheets it will also steam out most wrinkles :)

    Mine arrived and it just got crazy hot in Florida so cant really wear it :#

    However, I decided I was going to reward a team of my staff with these jackets if they make a certain production quota, all are really pumped. -{

    Anyone want to offer a reaction here? Do you love it? Wish you'd gone bigger or smaller?

    Hey! I live in Orlando! From Saint Pete originally and looking to get back there once I can find a job there. And, yes, Florida is way too hot most of the year for any jacket :# good to know who is nearby though! {[]

    ...To the jacket :D :)) Feedback in email has been great. Not to hijack my own thread, but the Quantum cardigan is now going into production, we're all sorted with another couple of changes to the second sample. I'm still expecting these in late May, but that could change of course. + or -

    And, apologies for the rant on instagram, currently 6 ebay sellers using ROYALE pics to sell a harrington jacket. (With elasticated cuffs??? :s )

    How has everyone been keeping their collar standing up while wearing this jacket? I notice that as I wear mine throughout the day, the collar really starts to flatten out and doesn't stay standing tall. Any suggestions or things that have worked well for others?

    Hey guys,

    Yes the harrington will be back, it will still be a while off as I do have a number of things in the pipeline before it, but good things take time :007)

    Also, for those who missed it from the Instagram or Facebook feed... Last week I had a great chat via Skype with Brian from The Batman Vs James Bond Show talking all thing James Bond and of course ROYALE Filmwear. Download the podcast here:
