Barbara Broccoli and Politics?

At dinner, we had The O'Reilly Factor on the television and we got to the segment where Bill read the mail sent to him from people wanting to either support or rebut the things he's presented in the program.

He then opens up a letter from BARBARA BROCCOLI (from London, England) where she condemned his treatment of Cindy Sheehan, anti-war activist. Does anyone know about the Broccoli family and their politics and could this be in fact the Babs we know and love? (The same that made Casino Royale...)

Funny you mention it JFF because I also caught the tail end of The O'Reilly Factor (I watch "Hannity & Colmes"). I was a little surprised that Bill knew she was the producer of the Bond films (she is not well known in the States). I don't know Barbara's politics, but based on her comment I would assume she leans left. Ah well, each to their own. ;) She'll still be taking my money! :))

Oh did he say that she was the Bond film producer? I missed that bit, as we had to watch 24...

Yeah, not only did he acknowledge whom she was but made a comment that she makes good films. Apparently he is a Bond fan.
