Experiences with Seller Deal2bdone

Hello,

wanted to ask the members about experiences with UK seller Kelvin Wise, who sells props and replica as Deal2bdone.

I have purchased Graves Ice Palace keycards (said to be real props) from him in March 2007, the item description showed nice and clear cards and were promised with COA.

I have received crumbled fresh-epoxy-smelling unprofessionally-made cards with a photocopy from a callsheet after 7 weeks of waiting.

Several emails have been exchanged, 1 replacement shipping has been said being returned to the seller.

The second potentional replacement shipment is said to be missing since 4 months and no result with a complaint on Royal Mail.

All promises have been broken, I am still waiting for my refund.

Does anyone know the exact address of the seller, that I am able to file a case against him, or does anyone have experience with him or advise how to settle this.

The Payment has been done with PayPal, but it is long over the protection-period, I have been too patient in this case.

Numerous experiences with him. He does sometimes have genuine items to sell, but then liberally sprinkles them with a good helping of fakes passed off as genuine. He recently tried to sell me the ice palace keys which are bad copies, plus he was passing off Magnoli passports as film used and FCUK Foucan style jackets as screen used too with fake labels and wear. Definately a case of buyer beware with this one.

    Update:

I have received the following email from Kelvin Wise:

"I have had a letter today from the royal mail regarding my claim & they have told me that they have tried to trace the parcel but with no joy & therefore they have told me that i should be recieving a payment for the loss within 14 days by cheque.
Therefore I will refund payment to you as soon as this is recieved with me
I trust then that you will up-date all the forums that you have posted message to to inform them of this and to retract your defamatory remarks that you have made to slander my name
I wait to here from you to confirm this and from there we can proceed with the refund"

    What would you guys respond?

I would wait until I got my money back and just not do business with him again. Update your posts and tell the whole story then move on. It's not worth any more of your time, life's too short to harbor grudges.

Just take it as a lesson learned and steer well clear in the future. If you get the refund I suppose that's atleast a good thing. If you hadn't have "gone public" it sounds like you wouldn't have though.

I would also wait for a full refund, then proceed with what you want to do, whether it be posting that everything that was promised to you regarding a refund was fullfilled, or nothing was done about it and promises were broken, i have'nt been to the site but now that i know this, i would not buy from them untill i hear how they handled there bussiness.

i once bought a prop from a reputable dealer, but what i recieved was nothing like the picture showed, i did'nt say anything to them, i just tell the people i know of my experience and will never buy from them again.

Good luck, hope everything turns out good

Update your posts and tell the whole story then move on.

Seems like a good idea to me.

Just tell the truth about what happened - acknowledge a refund (if given) and let others draw their own conclusions.

    Thanks for the update, BTW, it's always good to hear how other people get on buying from different sources -{
